I love the welcoming and relaxing ambience of Yoga Salinas!!!! I attended Astra Apsitis' Somatic Pain Solutions - Shoulders/ Neck workshop and it was so informative and eye-opening on how movements from one part of our bodies affects the pain we will in other parts. I am a convert and highly recommend Somatic Class with Astra.

I have also had the pleasure of attending Yoga Salinas' Community Art Workshops: such as Succulent Pumpkin Workshop and the Sock Gnome Making Workshop. They are so much fun to attend, and you will walk away with a great experience, a smile and an amazing craft.

Yoga Salinas is an inclusive environment. The weekly schedule of classes is diverse, with options for people of all skill levels and backgrounds to explore. The studio also hosts occasional workshops that provide an opportunity to learn and discuss the different types of yoga taught in the studio. Allison's Vinyasa workshop covered how to safely and effectively practice vinyasa flow. As a five-year-on-and-off yogi who recently began attending classes and workshops at Yoga Salinas, I felt welcome to bring my practice into the studio alongside people of all skill levels. The studio is clean, has a warm atmosphere, and is equipped with blocks, straps, and bolsters -- all you need is a mat and an eagerness to deepen your practice.

Salinas Yoga has a wide variety of classes for the beginner to the seasoned Yogi- and everyone in between.

I enjoy going to restorative classes after my work day with Sherrie. As a dental hygienist the restorative classes help correct body posture challenges that are a part of my job.
I also love the higher intensity classes taught by Lauren, Allison and Jenn that get my heart rate going.

Staying limber is such a challenge for me as a dental professional.
I find that Yoga keeps me feeling stronger, healthier and also helps keep the frequent back- pains of work at bay.

Jenn, Allison, Sherrie and Lauren often read encouraging passages that nurture the mind during their classes. I love the whole body/mind/spirit approach that Salinas Yoga blesses it’s community with.

I’m so grateful to be a part of this special group of people.

I have been going to Yoga Salinas for many years and love it! The instructors are all welcoming and caring, but non-judgmental. Whether you've never done yoga before or have been practicing for a long time, there's a class for you. They've added online classes as well as in-person, and everyone is masked and vaxxed.

I give Yoga Salinas 5 stars! I have attended most of the classes the last two years. My most favorite is Chair Yoga by Cindy Davis. Cindy like the other instructors gives great info on why we are doing each position. The exercises are most relaxing and you feel a calmness afterwards.

Been practicing here for a few months now. The Instructors are knowledgable, experienced, and welcoming to every body. A great place for beginners to learn the yogi way. The studio has great natural light, beautiful buddhas, plenty of props. A variety of classes are available ranging from gentle and restorative to more challenging hatha flow and vinyasa. They even have meditation, somatic (pain management), yin and qigong. Occasionally a workshop springs up that allows students to dive a little deeper into a particular type of practice.
This place has reminded me how much I LOVE yoga and NEED it in my life.

Beautiful space, centrally located, plenty of parking. Lots of classes throughout the day+week and online options as well. Offerings and staff are diversifying, reflecting the greater community spirit and myriad needs of area practitioners. Workshop schedule also provides other ways to engage with instructors and visiting experts. Staff are exceptionally suited for new practitioners.

I appreciate the diversity of the classes. There is a big choice of times, teachers, and levels of movement. Since every class is unique, my mind is on the teacher, not on anything else.
