I got to this cultural center by chance - on the way between here and there..... but I was very deeply impressed by the statue. I felt that the artist has created a very memorable and touching moment - expression of desperation, a moment when people are in great agony, despair and sorrow. I, as a descendant of parents that went through the Holocaust, that felt the the same feelings in life as the whole Indians and the Apache nation felt when deported, killed and sent to reservation like the Jews were sent to the concentration camps. I am sorry if my analogy is too strong, but this is what I felt the moment I saw the statue. This feeling will stay with we forever. Thanks to the creator of this great and touching monument !!!
