They had an event today. It was horrible.
Disorganized, no police presence for traffic control. People were going in the gate on foot, taking bags, boxes, carts, etc.

Many went back some three 3x or more times, while others who were waiting in cars patiently.

Whoever did that coordination did a lack of luster performance and should not be in this position of event organization again. This also speaks volumes about leadership.

Their were staff members using profanity at those there to get items. This is the first time I have been to an event like this, more than likely my last.

I also observed members of the organization, hot sweaty, and appeared to be very overwhelmed by the chaos.

I realize nothing will ever be perfect. However, when holding an event of this magnitude, there should be at least 50 members available with walkie talkies for communication. I only saw one gentleman with a walkie-talkie.

The other thing that disappointed me is seeing elderly people on Walkers, cane's walk up to get items, and then where they were turned away because they were not in line.

These people had there handicapped plaques in hand and were still turned away.

I also realize that this is a place that gives back to the community, and I feel this is a wonderful cause. But this event set the tone for me,possibly other clarksville residents as to how other things may be conducted.

My two 🌟 are based STRICKLY from. The event that took place on 10/5/2024 on paradise hill road.

Also, photos of patrons are camouflaged to protect their privacy.

Had a great experience there. We had come from Chattanooga to Clarksville to deliver tornado relief donations for the victims. We were greeted warmly there. Would definitely go back to represent our church (OUMC) with donations.
God bless the ladies who were working that day. Their volunteers had been working 14 hour days up until that day. BLESSINGS YAIPAK!

Words cannot express how amazing this organization is. Not only do they provide supplies to many other non-profits in the area, but they have become an essential part of support for our community and those around us. They offer supplies and restoration to our homeless, hope to our veterans, love to our foster children and rebuild communities hit by natural disasters.

If you have not had a chance to check out YAI and their mobile outreach structure that is changing lives, you should definitely pop in and say hi. Volunteer hours are on their website or schedule a tour. You will leave amazed.

This place is great, if it's all voluntary workers. I have had a few experiences with some workers who have been mean and really snappy with me during the tornado situation and at another event.
Yaipak usually helps foster family's, homeless veterans and will host some giveaways during the fall. They often give donations brought in by local businesses and by our community to help aid near by natural disasters. Yaipak is truly there to serve and be where the need is.

I’ve never encountered a group of people more selflessly dedicated to helping others and expecting absolutely nothing in return. They simply love people and the opportunity to serve. No strings, just reflecting the heart of scripture to people that need to remember that they are important.

YAIPak is an incredible organization that is truly making an impact. If you want to make a donation and know that it’s going to be given freely to the people that need it most, this is the place! If you want to get involved and serve your community in the best way possible, this is the place! You will love the founder, the team, the volunteers and the people we serve. Come alone, bring your family or co-workers.

My family has served the community through YAIPak for years and will continue for years to come.
