"We were weary hay haulers traveling through Denver. We stopped in your church parking lot (missed the correct exit) to take a much needed break and let the dogs out. A man came out to us; we were fearing a tongue lashing, but instead he offered us use of restrooms and several bottles of water. Thank you for walking the walk. We will see you again someday. God bless you all."

Tim is a great preacher. The church is friendly and has great things going on for all life stages. The Lord has called me out of the Word of Faith movement and into an Anglicanism as a clergyman. There may be some things about fundraising going on that I disagree personally. However, can anyone fathom the cost of running a church of this size. I saw people of all races, ages, and socio-economic backgrounds attending. The earlier bad reviews that claimed the church is racist is a simple lie. Yes, happily, they teach biblical marriage and such. IT IS A CHURCH! Truth cannot be compromised for the sinners' love of sin. Blessings be upon Word of Life!

Was really excited about going to word of life, great preaching and atmosphere, but what really threw me off was last Sunday's service, when pastor bagwell said "the lord is telling me that about a dozen people should give $1000" to me such men are false preachers, it seems like his true motive is financially gain. our Lord and savior Jesus Christ did so much for us on the cross without asking for anything in return! deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness.

The uncompromised Word of God, the Love of Jesus Christ, and the Power of the Holy Spirit, reside here. Not explainable. Can only be experienced. Life changing truth proclaimed boldly, demonstrated authentically and radical revelation.

I had to stop attending this church because the services and people within were making me hate God. These people discuss how heaven is full of all different kinds of people while also telling you that you are ungodly if you have any individuality. A lot of the people in these walls act as a cult. Surface level everything seems really nice and great. Just don't peek behind the curtains.

Extremely cult-like bigoted church.

I had the misfortune of attending word of life christian center for years and they were terrible. I have never heard such hatred before or since. Truly disgusting racism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, I could go on and on. All under the banner of “god” as though Jesus didn’t love PEOPLE and never labelled the people he spend time with as sinners, he called them friends.

If you want to find the hypocrisy of Christianity then look no further. There is truly no hate like christian love. And boy does word of life know how to do it.

There was an occasion that my father “confessed” to a pastor that he had been abusing me. And instead of reporting that and therefore protecting ME, a CHILD, from further abuse, they “prayed” and “meditated”.

There was one occasion where a pastor proudly declared in front of the congregation that he doesn’t believe racism exists in the United States anymore. And that teenagers self harm and commit suicide for “attention”. This man continued to preach there for years.

There was another occasion where a friend of mine confided in one of these pastors that she had learned that she was infertile and felt very upset about this. THAT VERY NIGHT, that pastor told a sermon explaining how having children is “god’s calling” for women and if you don’t or can’t have children then you are failing god as a woman. Truly despicable behavior.

Pastor Bagwell has none of the Christian humility that he claims to have. He cares far, FAR more about the appearance of goodness than the actual actions, given the incredible hatred he speaks and manages to have convinced himself is love. No one in the congregation can talk to him directly, because the church treats him like a pedagogue. He gives sermons that make bigots and rich people feel better about themselves. Pastor Bagwell is a man who is incapable of critically thinking, incapable of love for people different than him, and is truly a wonderful example of everything wrong with modern Christianity.

The entire church encourages this culture where they truly believe that christians are inherently better than everyone else. And even better than being a christian is a word of life christian. They teach that many Christian churches are not actually christian and have since “fallen”. Therefore the only “good” churches are word of life and churches that word of life approves of.
It’s deplorable.

In this church, was taught that atheists are evil before I even knew what the word meant. I was taught that being gay or trans meant I would literally be better off dead than alive. I was taught that the only correct people to befriend, the only correct places to go out, the only correct way to exist, was through word of life christian center. Anything else was a “danger of falling to The World.”

If you truly believe in Jesus, never step foot in this place, because there is no love here. Only arrogance and hatred.

My family and I have been attending this church since they were in their previous location at Dry Creek and Clarkson. Pastor Bagwell and his wife are no nonsense pastors who are very schooled in the Bible and the gifts of the spirit. From the beginning to the end of every service there is never a dull moment. A wonderful place for any family to attend. The services do run run a bit long but are well worth your time !! Come and visit and see God's hand in action ! The gift's of the spirit are fully operational because the Holy Spirit is always in the House !!!
