Went to rent a bike in Gunnison w/a seat on the back for me and my 3 year old daughter. Got fixed up with helmets for both and a great spin out to some nearby trails. Easy and fun! Great service and a perfect morning spent.

This review is long overdue! The staff here is awesome, they feel like your brothers and sisters. They’re courteous, professional and really down to earth. They are familiar with the area so know all of your needs in terms of where to go. Overall, I loved this outfitter and actually stayed a bit ( masked and 6 feet away) just to talk, joke and laugh. You will literally love the staff. Their equipment was top notch and totally reasonable regarding price. Long review and I rarely do reviews...so trust in that they are amazing! Thanks to them all. We had THE best time playing at the Blue Mesa Reservoir with our rented paddle boards. You guys rock!! Exceptional customer service by Mike— you crush, keep up the good work! Make sure you call ahead for rentals because they do book up and sell out! Much love!!

Excellent service! We rented a great paddleboard that we took up to Lake Irwin for the day. They helped to strap the board onto the back of the truck. It was super secure. Thanks! We will definitely rent from Wheelies and Waves again. They also have an awesome bike shop too! Dee and Dan were great!

We always have a 5 star experience with Wheelies and Waves. Courtney & Braden are super knowledgeable, extremely customer service oriented and always get it right. We've rented e-bikes, duckies, paddle boards and other services from them over the years and it's always easy. No hassle, they make us feel competent and do not gatekeep outdoor activities. Love this shop! I just brought my kids by to buy my son a t-shirt (daughter got a tee earlier that day at the same shop), and he was more excited about the skateboards they had than anything else. The guy working today (I wish I caught his name) was awesome with the kids; he took them into the skate shop area and showed them all the cool ways to build a skateboard. He even let my son take home an old deck he had on-hand, and wheels. He was the happiest kid after that visit (t-shirt and all!) and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Best paddle board rental around! It’s and awesome shop with awesome people. Dan and Dee were so kind and helpful! (sorry if I got the names wrong, I have a horrible memory). They went out of their way to help me figure out what was wrong with my paddle board that wouldn’t inflate and come up with solutions so I could still use it. I’d recommend this place to anyone!
