We love the Wetumpka YMCA. The staff there are always friendly and helpful. The workout instructors are wonderful. My kids and I love the pool in the summer. It is a great value for your money! I also love that they give back to the local community.

We had a WONDERFUL experience all around during our swim lessons . Brady Ballenger’s leadership qualities reflect in his amazing skilled team of employees he has chosen (Tucker is also one of our favs) I can’t say enough great things about him and this YMCA swim crew . I especially love how personable Brady is with each and every parent and child . ALL of his swim instructors were very professional and great with the kids . Also to top it off the place is clean and organized !! Highly recommended this YMCA !!!

Can not speak highly enough about the Wetumpka YMCA. I went there as a child and now my kids go there. Wendy is amazing and like the rest of the staff there, takes pride in her work and treats all the kids with respect and care. Danny works with the staff and kids with the after school program and is very respectful and handles issues that arise very professionally and also keeps parents informed. Would definitely recommend them for any parent that wants a safe space for their kids to learn and feel loved while they're there.

The 3rd/4th grade football program has been astounding this year! The coaching staff are phenomenal and extremely encouraging with the boys. My son has really gained his confidence in playing this year and this is his fourth year playing. I can see a drastic difference in his skills and attitude playing the game. The boys have learned a lot from football fundamentals, along with running different plays, and position responsibilities. I can tell a huge difference in all of the boys from the beginning of the year as far as stamina and skills. The boys are definitely challenged, but in a great way! The coaches really do pay attention to each boy and praise them on their improvements and accomplishments on and off the field. Great family atmosphere overall!!!!

Water Aerobics is great for people with joint pain issues or limited range of motion and mobility. The instructors are geared into individual limitations and work to ensure we know how to properly execute the exercises to prevent injury and to maximize benefits.
