I found strength in the group meetings and knowing I wasn’t alone gave me the courage to get mad and get out. During the pandemic in 2020 live at the dv shelter for 6 month. I was an essential worker. The place was filled with empty rooms I was the only occupant in the facility until the day I left for month’s! They received phone calls everyday and night from people begging for them to help just to have the employees that worked there say they were at full capacity 🥺 🥲 so sad 😭 cuz it was a lie? I really feel for the people in this community because of the willful negligence during my stay I did not receive any assistance I needed and felt even more traumatized after leaving.

I just spoke with an advocate. She was so cold and uncaring. This is why I feel stuck. What ever is happening in sac county is horrible. All these organizations are running under a system that has them create more damage then help. They are also over capacity. I feel for all of us women.Sacramento does not care about us.

This place is the absolute worst resource in all of Sacramento county. They will make your life worse if you depend on them. Everyone is rude and condescending. Completely an awful horrible experience. Stay away from this place because they will make your life worse. It is absolutely crazy. Read the reviews. The good ratings are NOT from people who needed their services… They are from people who work WITH/FOR them or are mentioning their profitable clothing store. Some have nothing to do with the business and the bad reviews are all from people who actually needed help. Also many of these reviews seem fake. Notice how the good ones are all one or two sentences.. or no words at all.

My experience ao far has been excellent. I was able to get an intake appointment with a counselor within a few days. I was given thorough instructions about the appt and when I arrived I was seen very quickly. Immediately felt that the ladies I spoke to were very kind as well as professional. They let me know the basic rules and they made me feel very comfortable. I was so relieved when I explained to them everything I went through and they both offered me validation, support, and reassurance in myself. I can't wait to start my therapy sessions and put this behind me.

Family was in danger and Andrew has still yet to return my call. If you’re in a crisis don’t call this organization, because they will NOT help. I’ve called several times and left several messages. Will be letting the state know to not use this organization as an enrolling agency for safe at home. You do better protecting yourself.

24 hr support line customer service3/17/22 11:40am call- was rude, indifferent, dis-respectful apathetic and asking for help or information was like pulling teeth from a horse. She hung up on me. I asked her to have some compassion - explained the situation I am on and asked what other services WEAVE provides. I could almost sense her rolling her eyes. Call lasted not more than 3 minutes. A waste of my monetary donations! Better off with SINGLE MOMS STRONG and other agencies in Sac where they treat you as a community member that they care about! WEAVE since you're hiring- stat vetting your candidates better and Please stop hiring young apathetic children to handle calls - or retrain/train more effectively. Single mom's- battered - distressed women who understand abuse and domestic violence. Very disappointed- I used to donate to this organization. If I was treated this way I can guarantee you other women calling the support line have also been treated with apathy, contempt and blatant indifference and dis-respect!

I wish I could say they were helpful. Every single place tells you to come here. Every question or resource I needed I was asked to go here cause EVERYONE SWORE they could. So I did.

Intake was simple. But literally everything they said they advertise or said they could help, all the sudden they don’t, can’t, a simply no or go elsewhere.
Was blown away and shocked.

I got 5 free counseling sessions to see what I truly needed going forward, literally just validated everything I said, shook her head and said others in the program feels this way. Not a real counseling session FYI. But I got to vent.

Did another course and left immediately after and never went back.. I was horrified. Placed in a room with other individuals and the triggers, ptsd was set off and no one is really prepared.
after all the wasted gas & time spent here (especially after already struggling) I still never got what I originally went in for, which was just guidance to help start legal/court information. Where to start, and if they could help point in the right direction. I literally pointed to there Flyer SEVERAL times saying legal advice and always ignored..

Huge disappointment. Glad it helps so many others
