We defy foundation opened new doors for me. As a disabled combat veteran I was awarded an athlete scholarship in 2021 that provided 2 Gi’s and a 12 month scholarship to train and learn Jiu jitsu. Now in 2024 I am an active ambassador volunteer for the foundation and actively donate my time to help spread the amazing benefits of the foundation and help other veterans find a therapeutic outlet through learning the art of Jiu jitsu. My overall mind and body has improved and my family life has greatly improved.

We defy Foundation is an absolutely amazing organization. It helps provide an opportunity for veterans to get on the mat and train, as well as find a community and help battle their mental health and even overcome it in a lot of ways. It's absolutely amazing if you have any interest in being a sponsored athlete, just reach out. If you want to help veterans battle the demons, you can do that by simply donating through the website. It's awesome!.

The community that has formed around a mutual goal that’s providing combat veterans coping with military connected disabilities a long term means to overcome their challenges through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and fitness training is is out of this world.
