On September 18th at about 1 pm the best staff was there. The security guard John was remarkable. He was compassionate, professional, and caring. He made sure to say my name correctly and treated everyone who walked through the door with equal respect. Thank you. The lady who helped me upstairs and getting set up with the counselor was very sweet and kind to me. I don’t remember her name but she had beautiful long dark hair. She answered all my questions and made sure I was taken care of, I greatly appreciate her. When I spoke with Cheryl she did a phenomenal job helping me by bringing action to the solutions she gave, making sure I fully understand and had a real plan that I wanted before I left. She truly understood me and what I needed which wasn’t another hospital. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the impact she made and her very sweet words. Thank you for seeing me as a real person. I would return to this center if needed in the future in hope of having these kinds of people working, thank you all again.

Supposed to be open 24/7 but I was waiting outside in the cold because the security guard was not there. Security guard was thankfully very kind and patient, same with other staff. They all helped me in the best way they could.

This is not a place that has licensed therapist. Although the staff told us they were the therapist dealing with our child, clearly they have no real skills in evaluating adolescence in crisis. I was told to take my child home and to put 3 different colored dots on the wall each representing different emotions so she can just point to them. She is 15. Long story short, after being told by the this place that my daughter would not be placed in a care facility even though she is clearly in crisis. I was told the chances of her getting placement would most likely not happen as she would not admit her suicidal ideology to them. We explained her history and that she would be telling them what they want to hear, but that she is in dire need of help. Well, how about you try before just saying it’s not gonna happen. We left there and she has since been admitted into an inpatient program because real therapist recognized how desperately she needed it. My daughter literally said that had she stayed home with us that night, she had planned to kill herself. I am so thankful we did not take their advice or I would be planning a funeral. I really wish I had known that she would not be evaluated by real therapist. If you are in a crisis situation, do not count on this place recognizing it for what it really is. You are better off going to the ER. It appears their policy is to only help after someone has either almost died. So sad that there are no services available until that has happened. NEVER again will we ever utilize this place.

Safe haven. Even the security guard was very kind and trauma-informed. I felt cared for and validated-they (therapist Robert, his team mate, the peer specialist and the lady who greeted me at the reception) switched on the light at the end of the tunnel for me that day.
Thank you for all you do-we need more people and centers like that.

This place is a joke my daughter was suicidal and we reached out for help and was told by The police to bring her here we got here at 10 am it is currently 5pm and nothing has happened my daughter has sat in a room for the whole time being told oh we're working on getting help then when I wanted to take my daughter I get told oh you can't. My daughter is the only person in this office outside their staff and not a care in the world about her. I have had to lose my temper just to get them to do something. And the supervisor didn't even care. Don't bring your children here for help. You won't get any.

This place is HORRIFIC.
This was my first and only experience ever using a walk-in crisis center, and I will NEVER reach out to a mental health professional for help ever again because of this one interaction. It truly was that awful.
I was not suicidal until my interaction with Terry at this facility.

Terry has no business working in mental health - He has NO empathy. He was so bad that I started having a panic attack DURING OUR CONVERSATION, and this man did not have the faintest idea how to speak to someone having a panic attack. This man actively and intentionally went out of his way to make my panic attack worse, and during our entire interaction, he treated me as though I was faking or exaggerating having a mental health crisis.

If you truly want to live, you will avoid this place!

Was directed here after a crisis precipitated at another medical clinic. Was told, in no uncertain terms, to go kick rocks. What is the point of this place? I was simply seeking someone to talk to in order to sort out some intrusive thoughts and was told that it was a medical issue (?), to go to urgent care or the ER (where they would do what, exactly?), and to basically just leave because there was nothing there for me.

Would be a zero star review but for Terry, the gentleman I finally spoke to. He was initially rebuffing and gruff, but once he realized A) what I was looking for and B) they didn't have staff on hand capable of helping me (literally just looking for a conversation!) he softened up and became rightfully apologetic.

Shame on this facility and shame on those who run it. What are you even doing here?

Edit - Oh and I just called the number listed in what is presumably the autoresponder to all the 1 star reviews, and the number is a dead end. What a total farce.
