I had not even heard of the town called Waldron I'm from Little Rock been a resident of Arkansas my entire life. But upon leaving my husband and I was for the first time looking for assistance because I had become disabled to find housing. Being a resident of Little Rock my entire life I had no idea about housing and this was my first experience. I'm happy to say I was quite impressed compared to all the other housing places I had looked at. As soon as I saw the apartment at Waldron I knew that was the one for me. The kitchens are very nice size with plenty of cabinet space and up-to-date. Bedroom had a very nice size as well as the living room and dining area. The bathroom was spacious. I was also very pleased to find I had a washer and dryer area in the hallway of the apartment. The maintenance crew was outstanding I'm not certain about now because it's been about 5 years since I've lived there but I was there for almost 4 years and absolutely loved it. The only drawback is that I did everything in Little Rock so doctors appointments etc family and so forth kept me driving quite so much that I become to adjust and enjoy my time on the road. I will say the only drawback for this place was there are office personnel on the premises Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00 and I found that as the little disturbing and found that I felt as if I was being monitored.Of course I wasn't the only one they were like that with everyone they could see who is coming and who is going. Although I never post a problem with me I could tell that some people are just a little too nosy. Other than that any issues that ever had occurred or attended to immediately by their maintenance staff and I was quite pleased that Danny was running the show with maintenance he knew exactly what he was doing he was very professional and made certain that everything was fixed immediately. Their maintenance staff was very trustworthy and I never worried about anything when they come into my home upon a request that something might be missing ever never had that concern ever. I am certain changes have occurred there since I've lived there but I will tell you I had a gorgeous apartment and I was very happy that there were trees between my building and the next building that allowed for shading and time to sit outside and enjoy the quietness and the fresh air. The convenience of having a hospital Dollar general family Dollar and harps grocery store not to mention the local feed store owned by local persons were a favorite of mine as well.the steakhouse there is by far the best place in Arkansas to have a steak. Not the one on highway 71 but the one across from the stock house yard. The couple that owned that place are just as sweet and lovely as could be very welcoming and made me feel like family not to mention their food is phenomenal and I am a critic trust me. That little town was cozy and comfortable and I was proud to live there I kind of miss it but I don't miss the drive now as I'm age down.
