The people who run the bed & breakfast establishment are very warm and Welcoming. The bedroom we had was small comfortable but no on suite facilities. The separate toilets and shower rooms were very clean and functional. Breakfast was included but you have to drive a short distance to the next village for your main meals.

If you want to learn, how a community is living, you can look at it and for the time of stay, you can get part of it. Every guest is warmly welcomed and gets a good introduction of the actual projects. The most of the food comes from the own garden. Fresh fruits and a lot of vegetables.

The garden is beautiful and the small pond has a nice water for schwimming. Specially nice after the wood fired Sauna.

Also a lot of bycycling people stay here overnight, when they travel along the Rhine. The river is only 200 m away.

The Vlierhof is an authentic and original place and run by volunteers who give of their best. The seminar house is a comfortable space with a roomy lounge and dining area. Next door is a lovely room with laminate flooring used for workshops and meditation sessions.
The bedrooms could do with some artistic inspiration but are quite adequate.

Having a wonderful time here, the best Eco- Commy of Germany....there is a lot to do, friendly people, great food...you feel at home, will be back every year ?
