Extremely belligerent old female was questioning me endlessly to get me off the property. I walked in their just wondering if they serve food. The first lady who looked like a bar tender said they don't serve food here. Old female came out of nowhere trying to interrogate me. Old female kept saying "this place is members only." They both thought I was under 21. Asked for my ID a couple times. I'm 32. I was exploring the neighborhood while my car was getting its windows tinted down the street. They old hag said "you're going to have to walk there". Right after I said I don't want to walk all the way to the Safeway shopping center since I have disabling tinnitus. As I was walking towards the door she literally said "go on get out". She's thinks I'm a dog. I have never been treated this bad in my entire life anywhere in a "place" besides when my family was abusive. This shows how dark this place probably is. Long story. "She said this is private property." I continued walking down the street trying to explore. She was outside staring at me. I turned around a few times and kept staring arms crossed when I was still 100 feet away from this land. She was taking pictures of me too. I had to walk back from where I came since there's no stores down past this place. I'm walking back and she's still video recording me or taking pictures. She literally said "yea come on, come on!" To antongonize me. She thinks a Mexican doesn't stand a chance? This place is screwed since my family knows every powerful person around here and for the entire counties surrounding it. You're done, don't mess with people with real power. Thanks for the life story. Moral of the story, don't be evil and think good nature is weakness sheeple

They do great work with connecting veterans to resources such as employment development, veterans’ benefits, etc. They also have rooms available for clean and sober living for veterans.
Victory Village was voted Best Non-Profit in Amador County a couple years in a row.

We stopped by just to check in and see what kind of resources they had to offer because we were helping a new veteran in our area.

As veterans ourselves...We were signed in and signed up right away, and they checked all the boxes to make sure there wasn't isn't thing we ourselves might have needed. We received a lot of great information. Nice to see so many people in our area there to help.

If you are a veteran this is the best place to go
There are a multitude of issues that they can help with
Whether you are homeless, applying for a comp claim or navigating your way through the VA system
Stop in⁉️ You will not regret doing so.

Also turned away. After waiting far too long for staff to return I was treated very rudely. Within 5 minutes I was interupted more than once and given inaccurate information. As an organization that states they help individuals one would think compassion would be a priority, as well as, knowledge about resources. Essentially all they are is a clean and sober short term housing for veterans where you are drug tested and charged to stay. You're better off at a hotel. Unless you don't mind sharing a room. Along with the very poor service they also do not abide by proper rules/guidelines. Its a wonder they're still operating based off service alone.
