We planned a birthday party at this VFW. We could have the rental for up to 10 hours. The contract was written up for the set up hours to be from noon to 3pm. The party was to be held from 3 pm to 7 pm. Clean-up hours were 7 pm to 9 pm. At 6:30 pm we were told to start the clean up since the party was to end at 7. The contract also gave the option to stay longer for the additional cost of $10 per hour if desired.
Since we were told to start cleaning at 6:30, people jumped up and started rushing around cleaning, cutting their visiting time short. There were people still sitting at tables and visiting, playing pool, etc. The gifts were not even opened. We were out by 8 pm. I don't feel this was fair. I thought this would be a nice place to rent at another time in the future or to just go there sometimes for a night out of the house. That WON'T be happening after this experience.

Perfect place to shoot some pool and hang out with the locals. I've traveled here a couple of times for APA regional tournaments and always enjoyed my experience. The people are friendly and sociable, staff is attentive and courteous, and the combination of cheap beer and a full kitchen is clutch whether you're here all day for a tournament or stopping in for happy hour. AMI jukebox and 4 bar boxes with a LARGE outdoor patio.

Overheated just before the driveway and the staff not only helped me get water for my truck, but got me hooked up with a local shop that got me fixed up quickly. Thanks Mike!
