I thought about getting them one star but they do answer the phone so that's something.
San Bernardino Housing authority was kind enough to help me get a housing voucher for this 63 year old homeless veteran was hoping to get assistance and locating a place as my time to find one is quickly running out unfortunately they were unable to help me in any significant way besides telling me to go back to the VA which have their own problems due to covid, lack of staffing, in bureaucracy so it's all blah blah blah to me,,, at this point bottom line is I'm still looking both for a home and some kind of assistance.
From what I understand the facilities above are lacking in a number of areas and are only able to help with very limited situations, requests.
Unfortunately my situation is apparently not one of them.
To be perfectly clear and fair I don't know what other services they offer they may be outstanding in other areas but I feel they feel short when it comes to helping me in my current situation.

Love the people ... Hate that I can never get ahold of anyone ahead of time though. I'd like to add that any veteran needing help with housing they should contact the "Keys NonProfit Organization" they have several locations but the one I went through intake was at 680 South Waterman Ave., San Bernardino, CA 92408.

Nice environmental place to be fast and friendly, they offer so many organizations to help our veterans who are seeking help with their needs and concerns plus they accept hugs too, which is great. I enjoy being a volunteer there and helping others.

They are an awesome group! They help the Vets in everything they need. So if you know a Vet in need or just needs some information, this is the place to send them. Talk to Danny, the main Man to talk to.
