I was turned away by the post commander in 2003 when I moved from CA to AZ. I asked him in person if as someone with a politically liberal inclination I would be welcome, and he said NO. I understand that attitudes have since, (now circa April 2024) changed, becoming more "ecumenical," and that all veterans are welcome. Prejudice is an ugly thing. I intend to apply for membership again soon. I am a Vietnam veteran with disabling injuries from the war.

Don't know if anyone knows how our flag needs to be displayed. It's ALWAYS dirty, tangled up, and NEVER lit at night!!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves. I'll bet its not water proof either. Not taken in when it's raining. Guess it's just somewhere to go drink. Maybe they need a boyscout to show them how to proudly display her properly! HAVE SHAME.

Stopped in While traveling through on a Route 66 road trip from Green Bay, WI doing a slight detour. Found the crowd here very friendly, drinks priced right. Glad we took the time to stop!

The Honor Guard was there for my husband

I have the utmost respect for this organization and it's mission. I have been involved with another VFW post and this whole organization does awesome things for their community and service men and women. GREAT ORGANIZATION, FRIENDLY PEOPLE!
