The Motts were friends of mine so when my mother died I decided to give Valley Rescue Mission her clothes ( she had 47 jackets and enough clothes for 10 women to wear. There was furniture, books and kitchen wear. if you are donating and they are picking up, make sure everything you want them to pick up is on their list. I had to fill my car with things and give them to Good Will. I also still have a bedroom suite to dispose of. I won't be donating again. The men picking up were more interested in the next two pick ups and left high quality furniture that they could have sold.

Nice organized store with friendly staff. Plenty of clothes, shoes, furniture, appliances and some bric brac. Also, wall deco.
Located next to the actual mission facility where homeless people are helped. Plenty of parking. Have been here several times and always felt safe even though in a run down area of town.

The men running the shelter are wicked and corrupt. Even when they feed the homeless they make trays for staff in front of people instead of before.

They help the homeless out very well and I believe it's one of the best if not the best one I have ever heard of or seen

Valley Rescue is a great backup support for the forgotten of the community. Brings dignity back to people's life. I used to donate a moderate amount 5 hundred + a year. 10% of sales I made purchased there. It used to be a great place to by gold and silver jewelry, silver pieces, antique books, and good watches and collectables. Somehow they have all but disappeared.Found out that one single person gets to go through it all and buy it out the back door. Hey valley how about giving all of us a chance. How about an valley auction site or a in store auction? They lord said cast your bread upon the water. Good advice. How about giving us a chance for a change? By the way. What happened to the old pocket knives? Haven't seen one of them in awhile.

The Valley Rescue Mission is an amazing place to go if your life has become unmanageable or if you are working but need a little extra assistance as a man to get things fully back on track. I highly recommend it.

I visited this Tuesday March 3rd. This store has good prices for a thrifty store and they do a lot for the community. Now for the bad when I asked one if the employees a question it seemed like I was an imposition. The employee that cashed me out did nothing but complain the entire time ringing my items. I had a lot of items to do it took a good bit of time to wring the items up. She was saying I want even suppose to work today and better not damn get off at 7 again. I'm tired of this. She was also complain about not getting any help which was a very good complaint there was people complaining about not being the furniture outside it was hectic. But when that was going on she said I need some damn help over here. Not every thing about her was completely bad she was very nice to the customers thanked me told me to have a nice day. The whole experience want horrible just checking out but I was in the store for probably 2 hours. I will return to the store because of the prices.

Tried to get my cousin in the shelter part he isn't a drug head or anything like that he just needs a place that can guide him in the right place and they had an open and refused to take him in said it's because he has adhd but yet he is 23 yrs old and you can't even tell that he has it they claim to be Christian base but treated him like he was a criminal and was very rude to me as well it is clear they are not here to help people but to just collect money off the government it's a shame and I will be turning this place into better business Beaulieu
