I was experiencing super bad neck and back pain it was so excruciating that 911 ended up having to be called. I requested to be transported to this hospital and was taken to the ER. The care I got in the ER was top notch. The doctors, nurses, and staff were very quick to figure out what was wrong with me. Dr Brusaschetti was the best ER doctor I’ve experienced. She diagnosed me with an infection and made sure I had all the medicine I needed before I was moved to a hospital bed for further care. When I was moved from the ER to the PCU I continued to receive excellent care from the nurses and doctors in charge of taking care of me. Dr Emdur was a superb ear nose and throat doctor taking special care of my infection to ensure my white blood cell count went down and the infection subdued. The hospital even performed CAT scans to pinpoint where and how big the infection was along with determining if surgery was necessary or if the antibiotics would make the infection subside. After taking Tylenol and antibiotics as prescribed I’m in way less pain and way better shape than I was before. My health insurance made sure I was covered for my hospitalization. I couldn’t have asked for a better hospital, care team, and overall service I received from this hospital for the 3 days I was admitted.

So I was unable to speak and was denied the care I needed. About 40 minutes in I could slightly talk again and mentioned how I needed my seizure medication and never received it. I had to pay for an Uber I didn’t have money for because they said it wasn’t working for them for almost an hour after discharge. But yet I got one right away? I had an experience there about a month ago and was completely denied care and shuffled around multiple ED rooms and a hallway intake room when I was having these seizures and they just sent me to Centennial Peaks. 0/10 for compassion and care and definitely negligent staff. Ive called patient advocacy and left multiple messages. I will be taking this to the State Commission board.

And to add the only *drugs* I’ve taken are my prescriptions.

I feel this hospital is very dismissive. I can also add the video of the nurse decking a ct for me in September and how noone helped me when I passed out with a bp of 218/191. I passed out and a nurse had to put me on my back legs up and administered medicine.
0/10 all over.

2 1/2 years ago, my daughter and I were in the most horrific accident. I won't go into much detail here but I appreciate so much how well she was taken care of. It will always stay with me. I wish I could thank the wonderful nurse who gave my daughter a brown bear stuffed animal.. she still has it to this day and it's served as a reminder for our entire family. We have since healed our family but couldn't be more grateful for the kindness.

Unfortunately, we ended up at the ER with my mom after she felt down the stairs 2 months ago. However, I am so thankful she was taken care of at this hospital. She got surgery and stayed there for about a week. Everything, absolutely, everything was absolutely amazing. The nurses were always so attentive and caring, the doctors always answered our questions and explained things more than once if needed, the case manager was super helpful and empathetic, the therapists were very sweet and always made sure they weren't pushing my mom to do more than she could, the room was always clean and comfortable, the food was actually pretty good (changed my view on hospital food) even the ladies in the front desk had a warming smile every day and had comforting words for my tired/worried face. I am short with words to describe our experience there. Thank you all for making the worst days of my life more bearable 💙

Thank you all so much for the incredible care and support during our family’s first baby delivery. From the moment we arrived, each of you made us feel so welcomed and supported. Your kindness, patience, and respect were evident in every interaction, and it truly made all the difference in what could have been a stressful experience.
You not only provided the physical care we needed, but you also kept us informed and empowered throughout the process. Your encouragement gave us the confidence to navigate each step with calm and trust. Jamie and I are so grateful for your expertise and for making us feel heard, respected, and cared for in the most meaningful ways.
We would not be where we are today—healthy, happy, and overjoyed with our new baby—without the dedication, compassion, and professionalism each of you showed us. Thank you again for everything; we will forever be grateful for all of you.

Mandy you brought us in and took great care of us as the induction began! Then came back and helped us take care of our son before we left.

Sarah M. you got William to us! You looked after Jamie every step of the way through the labor process! You encouraged me to be there with her and kept Jamie focused on the pushing. You are a Rockstar in the delivery room and your team is lucky to have you.

Kathy N. your ice diapers for Jamie were awesome! Something she will forever remember.

Emily S. You were so helpful with answering questions about him and with attention to how Jamie was feeling.

Karly K. you showed us how to swaddle and change our first diapers.

Liz S. you helped us get out the door in such a comfortable way. You answered our questions and made us more confident to take the drive home and become parents.

Med Student Meredith stepped up and helped more than we anticipated and she did an awesome job. We are stoked to have been her first delivery.

All the Doctors (Delivery, Pediatrician, Anesthesiologist and OB) were just amazing and super supportive and attentive of everything that happened through out the entire birth experience.

If there is someone we missed we’re sorry and thank you for everything.

With Love
Jamie and Adam

We recently had a chance to observe the palliative care conversation the hospital staff had with my mother. Nina was the nurse in charge of the information and Sandra was her kind interpreter. I was blown away by how good each of them was in their job, as well as how well they worked as a team. In addition to providing the right amount and depth of information, they were extremely compassionate and tender with my mother. Thanks for taking such good care of her!

I have been in an ongoing battle with this UC Health location over a bill they incorrectly submitted to my health insurance which has resulted in them hounding me for a payment of $2,921.81 that I do not actually owe them. After nearly a calendar year, it came down to yet another phone call today with Cigna, my insurance, who then dialed in UC Health and spoke to someone in the billing department (first name Ingrid, last name unknown). The person I spoke to at Cigna said they flat out hung up on him several times. When the call was able to continue, he informed of the billing errors and she flat out refused to correct them. He then asked her to put a temporary hold on this bill while they try to fix this on their end and she said they don't do that. They do, as they did for me on 11/26/24 on another occasion where Cigna was still trying to resolve this with me through UC Health. If they would simply correct the mistake, this would make a nearly year-long headache resolve much faster. Instead, they have illegally denied to fix the mistakes or pause the pursuit of collection while I'm now beholden to another 30-day resolution timeframe with Cigna. In the meantime, this bill will go to collections which will impact my life and my mental stress, which I can ill afford. The fact that your staff is not only grossly incompetent but rudely refuses to fix mistakes that have been brought to their attention is embarrassing, to say the least. In this case, also criminal.

I am so hesitant to say my concerns because I do not feel at liberty to do so. I think this is most telling about my experiences. But an example is that when I was discharged I said I was concerned because I was fluid overloaded. I had gained 25 lbs in the two weeks I was there. The doctor on duty told me I was not fluid overloaded and that I was obese. Obesity was put in my notes. In fact my legs were completely swollen and I had an enormous fluid blister that was weeping The end result was I had to go to another hospital for iv antibiotics because I got cellulitis. I lost the 25 pounds too quickly for it to have been anything other than fluid overload. Fortunately there is another hospital to go to if an ambulance is necessary
