Great spot for a hike and a view. Watch for rattlers, but definitely a special place. Bring your pup but please clean up. Tree people are the best people!

A beautiful place in the middle of bustling cities to take a break from all the busyness for self care, nature therapy or meditation. This location offers free parking and clean restrooms, and facilities for meetings or events. For more details, check their website.

One of my favorite local Hike, it has multiple entrances, you can access from Freeman & laurel canyon or from Mulholland & Cold Water Canyon... the hike ain't too long but there some other trails around. It has some shade a ND trees.

Great park. It is small and has a small parking lot, and although it is only five miles from the famous Hollywood sign, there are not many people in it even on Sunday, which is very important for me - a person who loves tranquility. At the same time, there are hiking trails, I walked along them only a little and I think that they are very short, but the very fact of their presence is also a plus for this wonderful park.

We come here for walks just about every day. I love how clean the park is keep. I also love the numerous trails and difficulty levels. It’s nice to come here at any time of the day because some of the trails are very shaded. I also love the amount of seating/picnic areas this park offers.

I Didn't know this place existed I was driving down Mulholland drive and came across it. "The good news is that we all can play a role in planting and caring for trees, restoring healthy soil,  conserving water, and harvesting the rain." Quoted by Tree People
Its very relaxing. I saw people walking their dogs on the trails. I love that they are planting little trees around and in greenhouse. I didn't get the chance to see everything I will bring my family back and visit again.

This park is home to the valuable tree people organization. Here members meet to voluntarily work on tree projects for the local communities and take hikes on the surrounding trails in their leisure time.
The park is also open to the general public, who may be impressed by the efforts of the Tree People and become encouraged to take an active role of helping to grow trees and transplant them here and all over the LA area!
Included in the park is the beautiful shade tree lined Oak Trail, for a quick nature walk on the bark-wood-chip path, just north of the parking lot.
Also connecting the park down into Fryman Canyon with Wilacre Park, is the more open Betty B Dearing Trail.
Public parking for personal vehicles and busses along with accessible restrooms are available near the entrance.

One of my favorite places to hike. You can do a loop or go half way and walk back. You are in a gorgeous lush paradise in the middle of the city. I have taken young boys here and we’ve done beautiful sunset hikes in the summer. I will have to dig up some photos of the sunsets here and come back and post them.
