They are super friendly building owners.
However, I am a prospective future resident and would like to point out a few things.
What I don’t understand is since this is a brand new build why don’t they install a washer and dryer in each individual unit? If the unit has all other appliances, it makes absolutely no sense why they shouldn’t include in-unit laundry especially the rental units.
For the units that are for ownership, I hope that these owners realize that when they move in or move Their family members in, they will be moving into a unit that doesn’t even have installation/hook ups for the laundry machines. I am not too happy about that, people should not be forced to use communal laundry facilities on site.
Also, where is the talk about maintenance and management? Even when I looked at the rental section on the website I see absolutely no information about maintenance and for persons who need help and fixing things there needs to be a property management company as well as professional maintenance people. Things are not always in perfect condition with new buildings and Appliances do need repair from time to time.
Also, if possible see if you can divide the unit breakout more evenly for rentals as well as owned units for your future builds. From what I see with this property the majority of the units are for own, and only a handful are for rent, and that can pose an even longer wait time for our renters who need stable and affordable housing in a safe environment, particularly for persons who have disabilities or are senior citizens.
The execution of the property looks nice, and I think it’s great to have Comunity involved in many different aspects of the living environment, but there are a few things that I think need to be included to make it the best living experience possible.
Please take this feedback in to consideration for your second addition since I know the first one is about to open.

I'm so excited for this amazing project lead by truly exceptional people. This building is going to be so much more than just housing. It's walls will foster a supportive, inclusive community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, seniors, and neurotypicals. As someone who grew up in this community, I'm over joyed to know Trailhead Community is becoming a reality!

To have a sustainable housing option for seniors and adults with disabilities in an area like this, is literally first of its kind and a model that can (and should) be duplicated in other metro areas.
