Our car got two flat tires on the road so we pulled in here late on Valentine’s Day after getting engaged. The manager Mike was a living angel. There were really no tow trucks that could drive my fiance and I back and the tire shops wouldn’t open until Monday. Mike let us leave our car and keys with him and suggested we take the ski train from Fraser’s. He even gave us a ride in his personal vehicle to the train stop. He turned a disaster into a manageable situation.

The rooms were incredibly clean and had all the basic amenities you would expect for a fair price. I highly recommend you stay at this establishment if you’re in Granby!

I love this place. This is the 4th + time I’ve stayed over the last 5 years and it’s always great. Super clean rooms, comfortable beds, easy/quick check in.

Andrew, the manager checked in on my Mom and I about an hour into our stay to make sure we had everything we needed for a great overnight. The location is very quiet during the night, I loved hearing the train on the tracks in the morning - very reminiscent of my hometown in AZ.

We will always stay at Trail Riders whenever we are in Grand County. These folks understand current hospitality expectations with a touch of historic Americana. We can’t wait for the next visit!

Stayed for a night with my wife and kids. Rooms were very clean and the area is nice within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. Beds were also in separate rooms of the same unit, almost like a 2 bedroom apartment. The place is family owned and operated and the lady who runs it is as sweet as can be. Recommend it to anyone !!!!!

We stayed one night in one of the “suites”. This is a quirky little motel, but clean and cute and super friendly. We had everything we needed. If you want a spa kind of resort experience you won’t get it here bit we don’t want that. The price is super and it’s really historic-original knotty pine decor that is pretty kitchy, and I love the garden gnomes. No frills but safe and comfortable for us. Thank you Trailrider!

Stayed here during a motorcycle trip. The room was very clean, bed comfortable, close to restaurants, and had everything I needed. Andrew was a great host! If I'm in the area again, I will definitely stay here.|And Andrew, I hope we helped you out when we left in the morning.

Where do I start? It's right beside the road and tracks, so all you hear is traffic, we heard the train 3 times last night. The walls are very thin, people literally talk all morning, you can hear the fridge opening and them walking around. I heard a sweeper at 8:05 am, dogs barking at 8:34 am. The bathroom door does not stay shut, toilet paper is so thin. The guy said a queen bed, it's a full. The bed is extremely hard, the pillow is so flat there can't be any fluff. The whole bed shakes violently when you get in and move. The blanket is thin. The room was hot, and there was lots of mosquitoes, we killed three, there was more. Microwave has a strong popcorn smell so it couldn't have been cleaned. The shower is really small, and the water hits your waist, maybe chest so you have to duck to clean your head. The room is from 1950. The towels are thin and scratchy.. the floor is so hard it hurts my knees. Not worth the price of 115. This place is slightly better than sleeping in the car. Will not be back.

Quaint motel. Neon worked all the way around. Very nice rooms. Separate rooms for the two beds. Manager super friendly, went above and beyond to help in any way. Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in the neighborhood. Thanks for a great stay!

A buddy and I got stranded in grand county after Berthoud pass closed for the night. We got a room here and had a wonderful experience. The host was welcoming and kind, the rooms and sheets were clean and comfortable. Turned out to be a nice refuge after finding out we weren't going home for the night.
