Changing my review to a 1 star. Played earlier this year and it was fine but yesterday was terrible. Don't waste your money. Tee boxes were overgrown and the greens were totally unplayable.

The good - the price is right, tee times don't seem to be necessary on weekdays, and it's not busy most weekday afternoons before 3.The course is a minute away from my home, so convenience is a strong plus for me.

The Bad - the cart paths are awful, rarely used and to be avoided if possible. Gravel paths would be a huge upgrade. As it is, they need to dig up what paths are there and go with bare dirt cart paths.

The tees boxes aren't mowed low enough, just like the rest of the course. The rough is too high and has a lot of tall white clover that can and will lose the drive you hit 2 yards off of the fairway for you. Very frustrating and expensive. Maybe they should do what Augusta used to do-cut the course at one length.

The greens look bad, and need work. Having said that, they don't play bad, at least not too much so. They aren't as bumpy as they look.

The bunkers have been abandoned, and are grass filled and not well mowed.

Every water feature on the course has algae problems.

Still, the price is very good.

If you play here, don't use your good golf balls.

This place is not even fit for goats because there is no grass. If you want to go play some holes and have no one out there, then this course is for you. But pay the extra money and go to someplace that is actually a golf course! They have the best browns in town lol. Greens are not green 😬

Only a 3 because they had just reseeded the greens. Course is short. Guy in "pro shop" couldn't be bothered to get out of his chair. I'll play it again next summer and hopefully it will be better.

DO NOT PLAY HERE. Every aspect of the course is disappointing. The greens are overwatered and unhealthy, while the fairways are dry and neglected. They have not cared about this course in 5 years. Go play at blues creek for $3 more if you’re looking for somewhere cheap to play. The only thing good about this course is the fact the no one else plays it, it’s not worth it. I don’t know how this course has a 3 star rating it is horrible

This course was terrible, the cart path had so many potholes that my clubs almost fell out of the cart. If you like playing somewhere that is similar to a war zone, this is the place. Complete chaos, we had to wait 20 minutes after our tee time to tee off and it continued to be at least a 15 minute wait for each hole. We finished 11 holes in 4 hours and decided to leave. The only thing good, and I mean only, was the hot dogs. The hot dogs were great! Everything else about the course was terrible. Furthermore, you couldn’t decipher the difference between tee box, fairway and rough because they were all the same. I thought I was playing in my backyard. The hots dogs were the only thing keeping me going during the round. If you like wasting your hard earned money, come here and spend 35 bucks on a “golf course” and some 6 dollar hot dogs!

Horrible course, probably the worst course I’ve ever played. Couldn’t tell the fairway from the rough, the greens were even worse. Just the worst you could possibly think of, this is worse. And the guy working was rude and very unfriendly. DO NOT play here ever!!!

Terrible course!!!!! So I used to be a big big golfer. I loved golf so much and it’s how I vented and relaxed on the weekends. Seven years ago I went on a family golf outing and on hole thirteen a stray ball tragically hit my beautiful mother on the head and she dropped unconscious. We don’t know who’s ball it was to this day but once I saw her lifeless body I immediately called 911. She was airlifted to a hospital and died three days later due to brain trauma. Her death crushed me. I started drinking heavily and isolated myself from everyone. Worst of all I quit the game I loved. I’ve been in rehab and therapy for five years now and my therapist recommended trying to golf again to face my fears and my demons. So I told three of my buddy’s my plan and we chose to come here to Timer View. We had a 7:10 tee time and showed up at 6:45. Right away we were rushed to start early we had no time to warm up or stretch. We started at 6:50 almost twenty minutes early. Before we even teed off on hole one the manager continued to yell at us to hurry up because he had other people to get through (even though we were the only ones there). We went on to play the first 9 holes where the whole course was a terrible mess, trash was everywhere, grass was poorly maintained and the cart path was full of potholes. As we walked to hole 10 the manager that was rude to us earlier approached us and asked us to leave because we were playing to slow (no one was even behind us). I tried to plead my case but he told me he didn’t care and told us we could come back another time and finish. Frustrated I demanded a refund and luckily I got it. I’ve now decided golf is not for me and I’ve now started drinking again. Currently finishing off my last fifth of jacks and am considering driving to the store to get more. DONT PLAY THIS COURSE!!!
