Our four-year-old recently started in the Tiger-Cubs program at Tiger-Rock Martial Arts, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! The instructors are amazing—they strike the perfect balance between teaching discipline and making the lessons fun and engaging. Our little one looks forward to every class and is already showing more confidence and focus.

The training system is fantastic, combining self-defense techniques with age-appropriate life lessons. We love how they incorporate physical fitness in such a creative and energetic way. The flexible schedule has been a lifesaver for our busy family, and the unlimited training option means we can always find a class that works.

Tiger Rock is definitely a place I recommend if you are looking to get your child or yourself into Martial Arts. I visited several other martial art facilities in the area over a couple of months to watch classes and speak with the different instructor before visiting Tiger Rock. From the moment I entered the facility and began chatting with Mr Dallas about his philosophy and teachings I had strong feelings for the place. After my son attended the first class, I enrolled him and haven't looked back. My son looks forward to training and has only missed because of church camps and vacation otherwise he wants to train every day. You can get decent martial arts training at many places but Tiger Rock gives you a higher quality instruction. Tiger Rock is not about checking off boxes to advance they are passionate about teaching proper technique. You sign up with Tiger Rock you will be making the right decision and never look back.

Our son began his Tiger Rock, TaeKwonDo journey in August 2015 as a White Belt. Today, he is a First Degree, Level 4 Black Belt testing for Second Degree soon. He has gained invaluable training in the areas of self defense; building on characteristics such as honor, courage, and respect. He has learned that it takes dedication and hard work to get where his is and that you do not get a medal for showing up. The self confidence he has gained through his TaeKwonDo training has helped him in other areas of his life like Scouting and Academics. I would say perseverance is probably the biggest life lesson he has learned. He has had major set backs and big disappointments during his journey but he keeps suiting up and showing up. We are very grateful for the trainers and owner at Tiger Rock. The skills our son has gained through his TaeKwonDo training will carry him throughout his life.

The best run and cleanest martial arts academy in Frisco! Master Dallas and his crew have created an awesome environment for kids and adults alike. We have multiple martial arts gyms within 5 minutes of us, but the 20 minute drive to Tiger Rock is well worth it. My son started 2.5 years ago and he picked Tiger Rock after visiting 4 different places.

Our kids participate in a number of other activities in Frisco - swimming, gymnastics etc. but without a doubt the instructors at Tiger Rock stand head and shoulders above other places. They form solid relationships with the kids - they all know every kid by name and they form a personal connection very early on. They really care about each child and you can tell that they make an effort engage with different kids based on their specific needs which is very hard to do in a large class. They make classes fun and motivating but run a very disciplined program at the same time.

Apart from self defense skills, kids get to compete in tournaments with competitions in board breaking, forms and sparring. They are also introduced to and trained in important life skills via the Tiger Rock Tenets that they recite before every class: Honor, Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control, Courage, Community, Strength, Humility, Knowledge.

Since my son joined, we now have his younger sister and both my wife and I signed up. The adult class is a lot of fun and a good workout and for me has been a great way to bond with my kids by joining them in an activity that they enjoy.

We have 2 boys at Tiger Rock Legacy & we could not be happier with their results. They have both received their black belts but we are equally proud of the respect, discipline and commitment Master Dallas and his staff have instilled in our boys. The program is well balanced between physical and mental. I feel both of our boys are well prepared to defend themselves if need be but again this is so much more than that. Master Dallas & his instructors do a great job relating to their students keeping them interested. The instructors are very genuine and great roll models. There are tournaments with all the Tiger Rock academies and they are a blast for the kids as well as parents and grandparents. I definitely recommend Tiger Rock for any age. Only regret is wishing we would have signed up when they were younger!
