All the comments about the curly hair lady are beyond true!!!! She is soooo rude. I have been there 2 times and the way she talks and treats people is disgusting. I have called her out on how she talks to me and she starts cussing and talking down.

I was just at this food bank as they were opening, waiting in line and we were all greeted with this old lady. She had white curly, shoulder length hair, heavy set and was going down the line asking for photo i.d. and proof of residence. But she conducted herself with a raised voice, almost borderline yelling at these people with aggressive body language and hand gestures. When I say she was rude, snappy, loud and disrespectful, that's me putting it lightly. I watched her yell at this Spanish lady, "I need a photo i.d!! You know!? Picture! Your FACE!!" As she made gestures toward her own face as if she was speaking, sorry, yelling, at a toddler. Her behavior was disgusting and you're suppose to be representing a public service for people in need. She treated everyone in line this way and then she got to me, asked for i.d. which I had and proof of residence. I guess maybe their policies have changed because I've only had to show proof of residence on my first visit and every visit after that they just required a photo i.d. She didn't last long with me because I have zero tolerance for someone speaking, sorry, yelling at me in such a disrespectful way. "Why are you getting snappy with me? I watched you be snappy with everyone in line, you know what I don't need this" is what I said, to which she replied "GOODBYE!" To whoever is reading this, there are far better food banks in the surrounding areas that greet you with open arms and warm smiles and will speak to you with sincerity and will make sure you get the help you need for your children. These people are already under a lot of economic stress, the last thing they need is to feel belittled and yelled at in such a disrespectful way. I've never seen so many people in need get turned down. I understand there are rules but address those rules in a courteous and professional manner. Never coming back, ever and I strongly advise if you are thinking of going here avoid it completely. As I said there are so much better food banks in the surrounding area. My experience today and for the rest standing in line was HORRIBLE.

DO NOT GO HERE. They only help specific addresses. The lady was very rude to us. We waited over a half hour to get help before we decided to leave. They also did not care about a child’s dietary restrictions. DO BETTER!!!!!!!!!

I went to the food bank today, as I approached the door I was rushed by an older lady who was about an inch from my face, yelling asking for my ID and proof of address. I told her she didn’t have to be so rude so she said bye. Thanks lady for not letting us get food.

Rude and unprofessional. Don't donate here. Take it to places who actually care about people.

I am so very sad to leave this review, however it should be known that the women that tended to me and my mother in law were beyond rude! From the very moment I walked in the door, I was bombarded with questions as to whether or not I had been here before, and do I have the " right" to be parked in a handicap parking spot, even though my placard was clearly hanging from the rear view mirror. They did not demonstrate kindness or compassion in n the slightest bit. Not one single bit. I'm absolutely heartbroken and am absolutely taking this a step further and filing an official complaint against this food bank with the City of Thornton!

HoRRIBLE EXPRIRENCE
I wish I would have read the reviews before I went.

But who checks the reviews at a food bank!!!
It seems like if your a woman of color the same pattern happened.
I wasn't even greeted.
I was asked immediately with no compassion for my Zip code.
Once it was determined I'm not able to served. The woman literally said you don't belong here...I said please don't speak to me this way
The woman who made sure to let me know " I'm 74 and blunt and I'm around alot of men...
I reminded her me and my daughter aren't men and she said whatever..

We left ...

We went to a small little church off 78th who welcomed us no questions asked.

Horrible treatment
