This summer, our son Remi attended Camp Shark for the very first time. We didn't know what to expect, and I was a bit hesitant at the beginning. It was the first time he had spent an entire day at a center or park, and I wasn't sure how he would handle it. But after his first day, all my worries melted away. Remi came home excited and full of stories about his new friends and all the fun activities he had participated in.

The camp offered a wide range of activities that kept Remi engaged and happy. He got to try cooking, dancing, exploring nature, conducting science experiments, going on walking field trips, and even enjoying a bounce house. Every day was a new adventure for him, and he was always eager to go back the next morning. I felt very safe dropping him off each day, knowing that he was in good hands. The camp staff, especially the young counselors, were exceptional and always ready to help.

The camp director, Alisha, was spectacular. Her communication was excellent, and she was very thorough in her updates. She truly made the camp special for all the kids. Alisha's dedication and passion for creating a fun and safe environment shone through in everything she did. Thanks to her and the amazing team, Remi had an unforgettable first camp experience, and I couldn't be happier with our decision to send him there.

Youth summer camp at the Los Alamitos location is big kids watch young kids. A few volunteer high schoolers seemed to be kind and care for kids, but I saw other volunteers sitting by kids with sad faces or just busy talking to each other.
They don't have basic programs. There are some activities requiring additional fees. When the weather spikes, I was surprised they didn't move kids into the building to protect them from the heat. Kids were wandering around the park. If you send your only kid, the kid will sit on the grass doing nothing all day.

Wow! What a great center for kids. My two boys went to Camp Shark and loved it. When kids were 18, they for a job there and learned a lot of job skills that helped them in their future careers. Check this Center out. Lots of programs for kids.
