Yankee Girl is a casual, down to earth brunch spot, lots of locals and potentially one of the most fantastic views you can get for brunches in Colorado. Highly recommend visiting in the summer and sitting in the sunshine on the patio.

The service is amazing. The hostess and servers are very attentive, welcoming, and friendly.

We ordered French toast with a side of bacon. While the French toast could be improved with a bit more of a fluffy texture and perhaps some fresh berries, our biggest complaint would be the maple syrup, which could be switched from the heavier, corn syrup to authentic maple syrup. Additionally, as a suggestion, potentially adding Bloody Mary’s + Mimosas to the menu.

We loved it, great food and service, awesome burgers fries, Reuben sandwich and Turkey bacon avacodo sandwich, only open till 2pm. Bathrooms are small and we experienced a lot of flies. A lot of history in pictures and art, a great place

🥓 Theresa, the hostess, was fantastic. She welcomed us with a smile and took the time to get to know a little about us. She was wearing her FSU shirt, and me, being a Florida native immediately struck a conversation with her.
🥞 Maggie, our waitress was kind and made sure we had everything we needed.
🥓 The atmosphere was homey and laid back.
🥞 They offer outside seating as well.
🥓 The portions were generous and priced reasonably.
🥞 My pancake was okay, as was my sausage patty.
🥓 Hubby loved his bacon. He stated that it was some of the best tasting he's had in a while, and he all of it and his French toast.

Great stop heading through Ouray. Limited menu but the food was really good. We sat outside on the patio. Beautiful day to grab a nice lunch, great service and superb views of the mountains.

My wife and I just ate here this morning Dec 5. We got in to Ouray yesterday for a two night stay and learned much of the town is closed for a few weeks for slow season, so we weren't sure what we could find for breakfast options. Called Yankee Girl and they were open. Beautiful little quaint restaurant with some great breakfast options. I had the French toast, bacon, and 2 fried eggs. My wife ordered a pancake which was hugs. The food and coffee were delicious and our waitress was so friendly.

Absolutely incredible!!!! Ashley, our waitress went above & beyond. All of the staff was friendly & so helpful. The food was absolutely fantastic. The salad bar was so fresh & delicious!! I love a good salad bar & they are hard to find. I couldn’t have been more pleased. I ordered the Alfredo with shrimp & it was perfectly seasoned & the sauce was creamy & delicious. I really was blown away by the service, the food & of course the views from the patio also!

Not a lot of choices for traditional breakfast in downtown Ouray but if you are looking for eggs & bacon, pancakes type fare then this is the place. Limited dining space but worth the wait. When dined yesterday, was just one couple at a table but by time we were eating it was a full house. Great food, staff , and atmosphere. Thank you for great eats and service.
