Great organization. Volunteering is easy and fun- they make everyone feel comfortable and useful! This is a super alternative for donating your gently used, clean houseware, furniture, clothing and bikes. Much better than donating to a for-profit organization.

Very cool experience! Went there for a bike repair session for incoming refugees as part of a charity organization. The people were friendly, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and most of all it was pretty user friendly. The only details that I did not enjoy were the fact that it was disorganized, messy, and confusing, and the people seemed a bit frantic. Also, there was no free food as promised and the water was hidden away. The work area was also somewhat cramped and messy.

Friendly staff. Elicited work hours to donate. Drove twice with N extended size van but were closed. They take donations from 8 -11 am, 3 days/week, if they close on another day for holiday should have included thT in the email. Drove a total of 80 miles to deliver but no can do. The car is full

I may change this rating pending a return phone call from the executive director. I tried making a large clothing and bedding donation to the address during the days/hrs listed on the website only to find that the location doesn't exist...asked neighboring businesses and even flagged down a UPS driver who verified that the address was bogus. Feeling frustrated because I usually donate my gently used items to Salvation Army but in light of the times I wanted to spread the love and welcome newcomers. Wasted gas and many hours of my time when I could have been serving others in my community.

A really interesting volunteer experience - had the opportunity to meet refugees from other countries and bring items/furniture into their homes. Mostly enjoyed the experience, although at some of the houses it seemed we were packing things into an already filled house!

I volunteer every Wednesday at this organization to pack stuff that the refugee families need to start their new life here in Arizona. Later on Saturday those stuff will be delivered to their house and they also need volunteers to do so. It feels good to know that we can help others in need.
