Just needed an emergency box to last for 5 days till pay day. Waited an hour for them to open up again. Doors were locked…waited another half an hour…still locked. Checked Google and yeah says they are open. Very unprofessional. I doubt they will even be open at two. Can’t wait any more cause I can’t be on someone else’s time schedule when we have our own.

Yes indeed it is a place where people who have fallen on to hard times whether the circumstances, they can find help . I think that the salvation army and the people who are there don't get enough recognition for their service and their commitment and compassion for the people who come to them asking for their help. I know this personally cause I too asked for help. They are what the name says the Salvation Army and I am honored to be helped by such great people. And so I pray... Amen

My wife helps to feed the Homeless and hungry individuals here in Sioux Falls so I am very familiar with the staff and the GREAT work that they do in our community for those in need. I can't say enough when it comes to the positive attitudes, the professional manner in operating their MANY public outreach programs and in the comforting as well as understanding counseling provided uniquely by each individual Social Worker / Case Worker to there clients... If you ever were searching for the right Charity to donate your time and or money to, then the Salvation Army in Sioux Falls would be the obvious pick to resource the most out of the donations and volunteer work that keeps it operating at its greatest.. God bless the Salvation Army

The Salvation Army helps alot of people, daily, who are in need of immediate help. So lets not forget to help them with cash donations and kids clothing. I should've done this review prior to this last Thursday, which was their kids coat giveaway! But they take donations all year long. And don't be afraid to ask for help when your family is need! And this would be THE place to ask for sure! We just divided and delivered our donations last week between three charities. It feels good to be on both sides of donation:)

Very nice people there! Went to help volunteer and met the new Major there. Very nice lady and they have good plans coming up for kids to participate in on family nights there soon.

Looking for Major Anderson several times but she never seems to be in the office. Everyone was nice about it but no one could tell me when she would be available. As a donor to the organization, this concerns me.
