Stayed here back in the early 2000's. Great place to stay. Safe faith based organization with many opportunities for growth and personal development. Took me in with open arms and allowed me to be part of their volunteer program. Captain Dan Ford helped to make me the man I am today. Thank you for saving me from myself and helping me appreciate the fun that religion and hard work can actually be. God Bless!!!!!

I have been there twice. I've been put into a difficult financial situation by this area's corrupt leadership. Elected officials have impoverished this community. I took photos to show what you see when you are driving up to this location and what you see when you are in the parking area.

Lady behind the counter rolled her eyes at me for asking where to donate my items and was super ungrateful for it.

Donate instead at any of the local donation drop boxes and don't give this company your time

The lady at the front think her name is Rhoda yall need to get rid of her she Is pathetic and the place smells bad also yall need to stop giving out old food

I am sure that this place does do good work. However, some of the employees need some retraining. I was there Sunday to feed the homeless, with plates I made from home. I was shocked when the employees came out to where I was handing out plates and got in line. They did not wait till I feed those living on the street they were like 4th in line. When I told them I was not feeding workers, she stood aside and still waited. My boyfriend just handed her a plate and dessert so she could leave, than another one came and I said no! We managed to feed about 75 people. I was still a little upset that the workers felt entitled, I just think that is not right.

I wouldn't donate to these crooks. I'm 30 years old and worked since I was 12. Only asked for assistance 2 times in my life. Both times they haven't done anything but talk to me like I'm trash. Called 10 days till Christmas and told me I'm one month too late for any Christmas help. They are outside Walmart right now with their donation bell guy, and for what? Apparently if you need help for Christmas you need to call them before Halloween. This place is a glorified trash can.

Wonderful charity to help low income families. The paperwork to request support from the Salvation Army is about five pages and can take about 15 minutes to complete. Be sure to bring your ID.
