Threatened and got ganged up on , woke up out my sleep 5 times a night. Plus they follow you around and harassed me while others are not working just laying in bed all day!

This homeless shelter is subpar. Even if you maintain good behavior and work, you are treated as a child and threatened with eviction. Furthermore, the quality of the food served in the shelter is significantly inferior to that of jail food.

Do not volunteer here. Jason is very kind and cares about his volunteers so if you did I would recommend doing it when you know he’ll be there. However the lady that was working today was so rude. She stated one of the volunteers was complaining (they were not) bringing them to tears. It made both of us feel like we weren’t valued. Will not be back.

Good people.Great environment.Some people can handle it some cannot.. That's understandable depending on the crisis you've dealt with.Hey! Life does happen & believe it or not it happens to anybody.But my personal experiences was educational,restorative,re-enlightenment , realignment in life,I was in a terrible situation before a life threatening catastrophic event once again & I stayed there I was in & out of therapy,in & out of medical procedures while I stayed there ,It was regaining some sense of life after tradgedies struck.... Yeah! There were some difficult days ahead,yeah there were some miscommunication but all in all everything worked itself out with counseling & clarification.& Begin turning another tragedy around..So! 👍 Yeah! Good place to find restorative hope again..I had personal struggles with pstd from wars also okay..Not alot of people knew that.. But even more help I received.....I had been through several disasters unheard of before & sought there for help...

I have a friend housed in this organization and the stories i'm being told is heart breaking. Being denied food, being accused of flirting with the woman housed there, being locked out, unclean environment, who is in charge of checking the people who work here? This is sad 😞 to hear when those whom need assistance are treated with disrespect since they seek to better themselves. I think 🤔 there needs to be someone to look into these issues so this location can enrich those who really need assistance with a more positive environment.

They are awesome. Not so complicated to get the help you need from them like some other places I have been when in need for food, clothing, help with financial, any bill, Christmas help, a place to stay, work and most important, prayer when you need it for those that may be lost. And who better to call on than Jesus. I pray more blessings over this business right know. Lord thank you for allowing me to be connected to this business to be able to share to others how good they are.

There is no salvation here, only an army of people ready to tear down anyone unlike themselves. There are many people within and outside of these reviews that have been hurt significantly by the Salvation Army.

Me and my husband are homeless. We went and was gonna stay over night until they opened Monday so we could try and get some help. They came outside and told us to get off their property or they were calling the police. And I told them we were new to Tennessee and just moved here and didn't have anywhere to go. They still called the police on me and my husband. The salvation army is supposed to help people. Not call the police on them. We weren't doing anything. We just needed help.
