Called for help with Rental assistance in the middle of August. I was told that there wasn’t any available left, because it goes so quick. I was advised to wait till September and to call right when they opened at 8 AM on September 3rd. I did so and called multiple times until they answered and I left a message. I was definitely one of the first people to leave a message. I should have been picked for rental assistance. I called back today, Friday, September 13. The lady on the phone told me that they had issues with the phones and that my message was probably not found/deleted on accident. So I just got screwed over for no fault of my own. Pretty ridiculous when people are trying to get help.

The most courteous and respectful staff. If you have difficulty asking for help or services by nature, these folks treat every single person with respect, which made getting help possible for me. They helped me lift myself up out of a rough patch by providing food & directing me to the correct offices for the services I needed. And just that right amount of encouragement and compassion paired with their knowledge of available local resources was what I needed. Thank you, Salvation Army!

It was a good experience. They provided myself and my family with good fresh food and I'm not talking about the usual half rotted, eat it now today or it's moldy and spoiled tomorrow (even in the fridge). Plus I received bug family packs of meat. An 18 pack of pork chops, a giant hamburger chub, three bags of chicken breasts and drumsticks. Apples, cuties oranges, white bread, cake, pies, brownies, a heap of veggies and fruit. Plus I also got ice cream and cookies. A gallon of milk, a 5 pound bag of flour and one of sugar. They even gave out laundry supplies like spot remover and fabric softener with the detergent... The clothes actually came out cleaner than I have been able to get them in a long time. I am truly, thoroughly and gratefully impressed with this location.
