DJ is the most conscientious doctor I have ever had the privilege to work with. I am a nurse who strongly dislikes doctors with God complexes. DJ does not have that. He admits when he is wrong, he admits when he is out of his depth, and he excepts being questioned by a "lowly nurse".
We worked together on a very difficult case. He visited once a week (rest home) called daily, asked and answered questions and called in any needed specialists. The case was so very complex that DJ wasn't extremely hopeful of a good outcome but he never once verbalized that and he did everything in his power to help fix the patient. Not only did the patient live but was able to return home!
DJ is thorough, patient, kind, caring and loving. If he is your primary care physician he will come to the office on the weekend to see you and save you money by not having to go to the ED.
Out of all the doctors I have worked with over the past 33 years, DJ is the best. Which is why once I was able to get out of kaiser I immediately had all of my kids and I sign up with him. My boys love him and he has fixed problems other doctors missed or ignored. Our family is doing much better now!
He is always running late so count on waiting, bring a good book and relax. Be sure to let your work know that you could be there up to three hours. 😉

Dr. Bloom is the quintessential family Doctor. He truly cares for his patients in all way, mentally, spiritually, emotionally as well as physically. He always takes the time to not only listen, but HEAR what you are saying and does not stop until he finds an answer for you. He will laugh with you, cry with you, and care for you. I cannot sing his praises highly enough.
