I am beyond impressed with my new beautiful apartment at the Paseos in Montclair North offering both comfort and elegance. The location is another plus being just minutes away from the 10 and the 210 freeway makes commuting a breeze , and the near Metrolink Station is fantastic option for those who prefer public transportation. I love that Montclair Plaza and variety of restaurants are right across the street within walking distance, along with movie theaters for those relaxing weekend nights. It’s truly a hub of activities yet the community maintains a peaceful atmosphere. Safety is always a priority for me and I feel incredibly secure at the Paseo in Montclair North. The staff is vigilant and there are measures in place that ensure residents can feel at ease in their homes. Speaking of staff I cannot command them to enough, especially Claudia. She goes above and beyond to make sure that all residents are happy and comfortable . Her friendly demeanor, and willingness to help with any issues truly sets this apartment complex apart. . Overall, I highly recommend my apartment complex for anyone looking for a wonderful place to live with excellent amenities, safety unbeatable Location and managed by the best of the best. I don’t usually write reviews, but after seeing some of the negative comments prior to moving in, I feel compelled to share my positive experience. The community deserve to be recognized for the outstanding service and dedication.

The staff are super helpful and kind, I initially spoke to Stephanie in regards to the lease, she scheduled a viewing for me right away since I was in was looking to move right away she was very friendly and pleasant to talk to, then I worked with Katlin regarding my application and documentation, she was very helpful and helped me expedite all my paperwork. They I finally dealt with Claudia, she help with finish everything I needed so that I could move in and make sure that all my utilities were connected prior to my move is. Overall they we all very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.?

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AFTER YOU MOVE OUT. At first, you might think it's great, I enjoyed my time there and the apartment itself was great, nice environment. BUT the nightmare begins when you move out!! Those good reviews are for the previous management and staff. Ever since the new management team took over, they have been finding every possible way to take your money, especially when you're moving out. They use various excuses to take your deposit, and even ask for extra money. The charged me more then $600 in total after I moved out. They don't give you any time to dispute the charges and immediately hand you over to the dept collections company.

During the move-out inspection, the maintenance staff told me that the walls were in perfect condition and that they wouldn't need to repaint. I also cleaned everything thoroughly, no pets, yet they still charged me hundreds of dollars for cleaning, painting, and carpet fees. What's even more outrageous is that I had proof of renter's insurance, but for the last two months, I was inexplicably charged $50 in total for renter's insurance fees. I asked the manager multiple times about this, and each time she said she would 'look into it,' but there was never any follow-up.

Additionally, three months before my lease expired, I asked the office about any important things to take care of before moving out, and at that time, they didn’t remind me that I needed to give 30 days' notice before moving out. As a result, I was charged for almost an extra month's rent. While this is written in the contract, no one actually remembers it, and I had asked three months earlier, but the manager didn't even remind me.

The new management team is the worst I've ever encountered. Not only is their attitude terrible, but they also unreasonably charge you fees when moving out.

The previous management team made you feel welcome, with staff who were friendly and genuinely helpful. The new management team has all new faces in the office, and now no one is actually helping you unless you are trying to move in.

Our dedicated front office gave us a wonderful Oktoberfest party. With exemplary hospitality from Claudia, Beth, and Jorge. Bringing children activities such as a jumper, face painting, good music, and delicious food and drinks. Alcohol included for the adults! Our front office staff is and has always been the best!

My husband and I have been living in the complex for almost a year. In general, the place is good, and we like it here, but I removed 2 out of 5 stars because of the gym. The gym has 3 treadmills, and only 1 of them works. It's so inconvenient to wait for your turn to use the remaining treadmill. I believe the second one broke recently. When we moved in, only 2 of them worked, and 1 was out of order, now 2 out of order. For us and most people who use gym, it's so inconvenient. Also, there was a problem regarding air-conditioning in the gym, but now I believe they finally fixed it. It wasn't cooling properly, and my friend who has been living there for years said she told them many times regarding air conditioning. So, it also took them time to resolve the issue.
Please, if you have 3 treadmills, make sure all of them work!

Kinda pissed. I was sitting in the car until this unknown lady came up to me all unprofessional asking if I lived in these apartments then proceeded rudely “what’s your apartment number?” Like ever heard of stranger danger? Also not even stating who she was. Audacity. ALSO we were on a PUBLIC street. Not doing anything wrong just sitting. Then started to look inside our car for a permit sticker like are you serious? And said she was getting complaints? For what? More like we aren’t making any noise or being loud. These neighbors are also horrible too. Always fighting. Parking is terrible. Go find yourself a better home.

The condition of the pools is extremely unpleasant, and the Jacuzzis are currently closed. Furthermore, there has been a lack of response to my emails. It is frustrating to think that we are paying for amenities that we are unable to enjoy. In the past four weeks, both our friends and family have voiced their complaints about this situation. Absurd!

Today is 10/20/24 and there is more than 10 units available to rent. We told some friends about coming to live here. They came hoping to see the units and according to the girl in the office “They were too busy to give them a showing” . I think this is Stephanie which is the girl who took over Jade (who was amazing). This girl is late sometimes , goes into the office late hours. I mean the list is ongoing . I mean if that is who they hired after Jade then that’s on Paseos. But you would think they would want to rent the units since they have so many available at the moment. It just gives a bad taste especially when you brag about living here and then they get that treatment from the staff.
