Absolutely wonderful. Fantastic people and a historic location. If you're in the LGBTQ+ community or just want to learn more about it with an open mind and heart, please check it out to find kindred spirits, touch base with others in your community, share information, and enjoy games and other events such as support groups, coffee, a monthly bookclub.

One of the few lgbtq centers for miles and the community and it isn't much of a welcoming community;went a couple of times and the volunteers were socially awkward and rude; not much activism for our women and black allies as well or for our own community.
Not to mention I submitted an application to volunteer and I never heard back from anyone at all

The Outreach center is pretty fun. Stop by for womens group! We have a lot of fun playing bingo and stuff! I know you're shy, i was too, but dont worry we'll make you feel super welcome its fun.

Needs to have more than just game night and so called support groups. Some people in the community are actually in need of a save zone. Some where they can go into and feel welcome not to hear catty talk or judgement. It speaks volumes to walk in and just hear people there talk so much negativity about others in the cummunity or even the most vulnerable. Some people in the lgbtq cummunity are actually homeless and with no resources in the A.V some where to be able to walk into.. Read a book.. Heat up some thing in a microwive or plainly use a restroom with out being judged like everywhere else would be nice to see. I see this center as pointless, nothing good goes on here. The space is being wasted when there can be so much more they can do if they actually had people who had a goal... Organization and the right mentality. I hope to see this center be use wisely. Please get better volunteers. People who are not stuck up or who think they are better than every one else. People who,wont turn around as soon as others leave and just talk bad about them and show how privilege they are because not everyone is privileged.

The OUTreach Center is the AV's go to LGBT organization. It is 100% volunteer run and does so much. Some of the most amazing people in the AV are volunteers here.

What they have is great but it’s very frustrating being under 18 and not having really any groups or support I can go to. I really think they need to improve their youth program to add more!!
