I went here in 5th grade and I loved it I had a great time there and it teacher me a lot. I had a lot of fun experiencing and learning new things about others and about myself. I hope to have my sister's visit this in the near future and have the same fun experience as I did. ☺

The Mosaic Project is a gift to our Planet. I taught 4th grade in deep east Oakland for five years and had the opportunity to bring four of my five classes to the camp. It is absolutely life changing. My students and I learned so much from their curriculum and gametivities and influential soundtrack. From my knowledge, Mosaic is the only organization addressing and explaining prejudice and segregation with 4th and 5th graders (most organizations gear their programming to older students -when the world has already tainted their beliefs). Talking about these real, systemic issues at this age will assist children in navigating through complex situations in a more positive and confident manner, which will ultimately change our world for the better. If you are a parent or a teacher, please look into bringing your child(ren) to the Mosaic. You will NOT regret it. Love you, Mosaic. Forever.
