This is by far the best life experience that I’ve had for a peaceful , humbling , learning , and surreal kind of day . I was able to face a lot of my fears , simply because I’m a city girl . I didn’t grow up farming or being around different types of animals . However , I was able to learn alot and hold a chicken for the first time in my life .

I will be attending every month on any Saturday’s I have available because why not ? Everything this farm grows go to the food pantry . That’s awesome and it’s also just such a beautiful experience. Next step and fear to cross is chicken processing .

If anyone has a couple hours to come on Saturday mornings , I promise you , you will not regret it .

Very lovely farm! I have a little homeschool group and Cindy was so gracious and kind. She took us on a tour of her farm. I had a really great experience, so did the children. It’s amazing she gives back to her community by donating produce and chicken to those in need. They are doing wonderful things here. I’d love to come back and volunteer some day.

I cannot get over the day that I just experienced at The Giving Garden at Jacobs Rewards Farm! I spent a good amount of my morning doing some hard work, caring for animals, and helping them move on. It was a new experience and very intimidating, but the knowledge that I gained today makes it all worth it. It's a great volunteer opportunity for those looking to get involved with animals and the environment. The people who are involved very clearly care about it and keep it well taken care of. This organization is doing wonderful things, things that too many people forget about too often. If you're not interested in getting out there and doing the work to help this farm out you should consider donating! Every bit helps, and the money is all spent on making this farm run humanely and is given back to the community through meat and vegetables.

We loved working in the Giving garden farm today. Farm is very well kept, Cindy and Lynne were amazing in giving us the farm tour and explaining how it serves the community. Love their passion to serve and would love to continue volunteering here.

I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend a Saturday morning! My wife and I have always wanted to begin a garden, but had no idea where to start. Working with Cindy allowed us to see just how amazing having and maintaining a garden can be, and we feel more equipped to begin our own garden some day. In the meantime, we look forward to being able to continue to contribute to "our" garden here and learn more with each visit. We look forward to our next visit and can't wait to come back!

If you're questioning whether or not you should volunteer here - DO IT! It was an awesome experience with awesome people. You will learn so much from Cindy and be able to apply that knowledge to your own life and your community. Not only is this experience educational, but it's so much fun. Cannot wait to come back! 🙂

Very peaceful and quiet the owner is a very sweet lady very patient. Just left, came here with my daughters school they learned alot. Wish I would have known they sell chicken eggs. Maybe next time
