What initially started out as a search for ice cream, quickly turned into a stay at The Gallery for tea, coffee, cakes and a ceramic purchase instead.

Thanks Phil for being an absolute star, expressing genuine warmth and love for the local area.

I'll definitely have to try the Ginger cake next time.

We were made extremely welcome by Phil. We had time to look through the art work and then had some lovely homemade cakes and drinks.
This is an absolute gem of a place and a must visit if you are in the area.

We visited this amazing place a few weeks ago whilst on holiday in the area! Loved it! Great coffee, cake, wonderful artwork and a very warm welcome from the host, Phil! And when we thought it couldn’t get better, we realised music by the hugely talented Elliot Smith was playing in the background…………thank you, Phil for your YouTube recommendations to watch Elliot in concert at various locations, loving viewing these performances! And thank you too for welcoming us into your very special place, will be back for sure !

Excellent cup of tea with a fruit scone and a slice of chocolate cake. Both delicious! Thank you very much!
Phil is a good host- very chatty, very welcoming, with excellent service and he was very accommodating too. A must for anyone passing by or wondering where to go for a coffee and a piece of cake!! Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it.
Phil's art work in his gallery is a must to look round too! Great pieces of work. You'll find them in the tearoom and adjacent rooms. Thanks again for your hospitality Phil.

A gem of a gallery and coffee stop. Our visit was a thoroughly special experience, with gallery owner/ photographer Phil going ' above and beyond' to welcome us and be an attentive and interested host.
The gallery has a variety of exhibitors, and the coffee is very good. Do stop!

What a wonderful place and host , Phil welcomed us in with open arms with a abundance of wit and good humour, the coffee (el jaguar) and cake was exceptional, the photography , pottery , wooden boxes and jewellery where all fantastic quality, so good we are going back tomorrow, and I would suggest if you are thinking of visiting head towards the gallery from Gatehouse of fleet as the road and views are stunning
