We went on a Monday and the attractions were closed but we were allowed to look around for free anyway. Would have enjoyed more if we had went another day.

Attended as a field trip chaperone for my daughter's class. Had a phenomenal time in the chandlery and the wonderful staff working there were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Looking forward to bringing my other kids for a visit soon!

Great for class on candle dipping. If you have an adversity reaction to scents, you may not want to go in. Strong smell.

The Chandlery Shop at the Ozark Folk Center State Park provides a fun hands on experience in a friendly relaxed environment. Folks aged six & up can dip traditional hand made taper candles into colored melted wax to create their own uniquely colored candles. Just $3 gets you two 6" candles to dip, six colors of wax to choose from and blend, and expert instruction to guide you. Some families have made a tradition of dipping candles, bringing in multiple generations to share the experience. It's basically the greatest place on Earth. They also sell fancy beeswax soaps & candles.
