The guy preaching did a really good job. Everything he said was helpful and i agreed with. They gave out canned food and chicken breast and you get a big garbage bag to go in 2 different rooms to fill up with clothes shoes and household items. I appreciate everyone that takes their time to do this. You get to go 5 times a year. Thank you. 5 stars

I was very impressed with the whole operation of the food bank. I need a little help during this time of year. I take care of lots of kids and I'm not able to work so I chose to go here for a little help. They gave me food and let me get a bag of clothing for the kids. Everything I got was cleaned and in a gently used condition. The care and thought that goes into the works of this part of that church is phenomenal. I didn't have to feel like a burden. I am in need but I don't like feeling bad for needing. The staff was kind to me and was not at all what I was expecting... they have a good system that works well.... they will ask you a few questions to begin with but if you can't answer those questions then you probably don't really need it.... I needed help they supplied it with care.... I may not have money but I can give my time to write this review and to also say I am willing to volunteer in appreciation for receiving the help ...
Thank you Steven's st Baptist church for your kindness to me ... I will be needing to come back before the end of the year and I was offered and invited to do so... I appreciate your help 🙏

What a gift to the Cookeville Community! What you may not know, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make this resource available yo those who may need a hand up. Kind and generous are these folks at Steven's Baptist Church and all the other Baptist Congregations that make this available to Cookevillians! Praise Jesus!

This place holds a special meaning and a reserved spot in my heart. On several occasions I've seeked helped for food and clothing, but even more importantly the spiritual help the members give to me. Thank you so very much for all you've done for me and my family through the years, as well as the community. You are such a blessing!

It's a good place to get thing's you need like food and clothes and maybe a little bit of help with your electric Bill but if you have to wait for a while and it gets to late you can't get in to get the clothes that's what happened to me when I just wanted to get some clothes and nothing else there's nothing I can do about it but get there early they start at 12 and it only stays open until 2 so there's not much time

Wonderful staff and as far as getting clothing that's always a hit and miss they give out what they receive so a lot of times I go in there and I don't find some of the things that I need but that's not Steven Street's fault and I don't blame them it's a clothing bank and a food bank and I'm grateful for the help that they have given me and my family and I don't look a gift horse in the mouth and I am blessed for the prayers that they give
