Don’t spend too much money on music you like if there are angsty little local 20 yos. I guess they have nothing else to do but bring down the vibe with depressing music.

The Boardroom is a solid option for an easy drink in an unpretentious atmosphere. The pours are good and the prices are very reasonable. Staff is quick, kind, and efficient. I've never had to wait any unreasonable amount of time and there's always a seat waiting for me at the bar. Pool tables are only a dollar and darts are free. This bar attracts a very down-to-earth group of hardworking folks with its proximity to the docks and everyone is very friendly. Great place to stop for a stiff drink by yourself or with some friends.
