I started attending The Avenue Church in December 2018, and it quickly became home. I was baptized in March 2019 and now serve regularly on a Dream Team. It’s hands down the best church I’ve ever been to—there’s no judgment, everyone is truly welcome, and you don’t just feel like you belong… you do belong.

Pastor Justin is an incredible teacher and leader. His messages are clear, powerful, and full of truth. In 2020, I brought my boyfriend with me to church—he’s now my husband, a member, and also serves on a Dream Team. We’ve grown so much individually and together through this church.

Even though The Avenue is a big church, Life Groups and Dream Teams make it feel small. You’ll find real community here—people who love you, challenge you, and walk with you through life. This church has changed my life in the best way.

Been going to this wonderful church for 2 years and it has done so much for our family there are always opportunities to serve and the Holy Spirit is always moving. Our pastor Justin Graham is an amazing man of God and he always preaches what the Holy Spirit tells him to whether or not he thinks it'll hurt someone's feelings he is always true to God's word and God's will for his life and the life of all of us under his care. If you don't have a home church or you're ever in the area please drop in and visit us you will forever be changed.

They were pretty new then, but I came through, lost with a ton of issues. I needed fuel and food I was trying to get back to Beckley WV. I was coming from Mobile Alabama. Without a question the woman working the desk immediately got me a coat due to the time of year! They loaded food in my trunk,nearly filled it up. It was a VW bug convertible. But anyway the pastor followed me to the gas station and crammed my tank full. With there help and the Lord's blessings I made it safe. Oh yeah I had enough food left over to feed a family of 4 for 3 days..Amen

Alright! Not what I expected! Not what you think. It’s a gospel awaking of the kind you’re not going to believe. It’s a spark of belief. It’s a jump start to your week. It’s full of enthusiasm and energy and was motivating and inspiring. The sermon made sense and was steeped in both traditional and modern experiences from the Bible. The showmanship and delivery is concert level and it’s really gets you going. The production and execution is top notch and the congregation is welcoming and truly friendly. I am an out of town visitor looking for my Sunday sermon. This was way outside my norm but so much so I will be returning each week that I am in town. Go to the 8 o’clock service the later services tend to get crowded. As it seems to me as an outsider. This organization is truly committed to preaching and teaching. Not putting you on blast or asking for your wallet. It’s an experience everyone should try once! High energy and full of spirit. Highly recommend

I go to food pantry and have truly blessed by the woman there. They pray for me when I've asked. I have stage 4 liver cancer that has now traveled to my lungs again and to my brain. I will be asking for prayers again. I am truly blessed when I visit there. Thank you and God Bless each and everyone.
