I have not known of Ten Toes In for long.Yet they took me in with open arms and hearts full of Love.Real Honest Unconditional Love!!!! For a man like me coming from 32 years of incarceration, it is normally an unknown feeling and scary, but not with them. This organization has affected lives while changing them for not only the better but for the best. This organization gives so much life and hope to those in a dark place that are struggling to find the light. TEN TOES IN puts the S in SUPPORT because they will not watch you go through the fire but will find the extinguisher to help you put it out. This is not just an organization but a FAMILY. The CEO Darlene Burke has shown her dedication from day one and the Case Manager Danielle Holloway has helped the Ten Toes in Brothers find paths to success when they thought it was over . I met Darlene Burke when I was incarcerated in 2023. When I came home Tentoes supported me in my reacclimation back into the community. Tentoes not only supported me with resources, but she also supported me with my mental health and coping with relationships and what it takes to positively Reacclimate back into society without tentoes I would not have reached my goals in, becoming a full-time software engineer, getting back into college to finish my bachelors degree in computer science , managing and navigating relationships with family ,my fiancé and with friends, I cannot say enough about how tentoes and Miss Darlene Burke has impacted and change my life and all I want to say is thank you. If I had to put my money behind one organization, it would be Ten-toes-in for the amazing support and authenticity of their program offers.

Ten Toes In Is An Amazing Organization. The “family” commitment to support families inside and out is unheard of! Darlene supports the women and men like a mother. There are not enough words to express how necessary Ten Toes In is for those with an intimate partner who is incarcerated or formerly incarcerated. Executive Director/Founder, Darlene Burke, is the real deal. She is committed to helping develop healthy thriving relationships for those impacted by incarceration. Every facet of her organization is intentional and purposeful. She is a woman of integrity and her passion for this work is evident in everything she does. Personally, she was instrumental to my growth and healing during a very traumatic period of my life. Darlene and the Ten Toes In family were a blessing and a safe place for me to feel loved, accepted and most importantly understood. I am beyond grateful that I encountered Ten Toes In and highly recommend Darlene and this organization to anyone who is in similar situations.
