Absolutely loved it here. We arrived the day after the season closed so it was a quaint and peaceful experience. the brown dog has some great pizza and nice wait staff. they prepared a great vegan pizza for me that still has me reminiscing, The local shops recommended a gorgeous hiking trail but living at sea level left me pretty breathless so it was a real slow hike but well worth it!!

Beautiful and bustling little town at the base of snow capped mountains. Lots of good places to eat. Nice walk around the town with interesting historical narratives. Gondola ride is breathtaking.

I popped in just to ask where a candy store was, did not have a mask on but had one readily available in the pocket of my purse. The woman behind the desk and was at least 15’ away from me because the entrance is blocked off, started yelling at me to get out!!! I told her I forgot, I had just been strolling outside on that beautiful day and this was my first place I had entered. I told her I could grab my mask immediately and she just kept yelling ~ “Get Out!!!” Some welcome back to Telluride! I don’t ever need to return if that’s the kind of people representing your beautiful town ~ just made it ugly. I would give a negative 5 stars but it’s not available.

Love love love Telluride, have been going since 2004. I originally came for Telluride Bluegrass back in 2004, and absolutely fell in love with the town, the mountains, the resort, the festival. Returned to Bluegrass in 2010 and am going again this year, can't wait!! Literally can not say enough good things about the place. Been to 4 Blues and Brews Festivals.. for the beer drinker and blues lover, it's absolute heaven, and not as crowded as the bluegrass festival, plus the fall colors are spectacular. Have stayed at the River Club which was as good as it gets, also more recently stayed at Montana Placer Inn for two nights, a block from the lift in town, just awesome. Great food, friendly people, stunning scenery, what more could you ask for in a "resort" town? This place is heaven on earth. Will have to return to the ski resort next winter to experience the deep powder!! Cheers!

Staff member very helpful about 4-wheeling in the mountains. Talked us out of doing Black Bear Pass from the Telluride side since it's the most dangerous road in the country. Steered (no pun intended) us to some awesome Jeep trails leading to inspiring passes.
