DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. These people are not legitimate. They are only willing to help who they choose to. Was denied because I couldn't provide a lease for the father of my kids. How in the world would I get a lease that belongs to someone else and I'm not on. I was told I needed to provide HIS check stubs!! I'm applying for help for me and my daughters. It has absolutely nothing to do with him. I can't believe these people are getting away with this kind of stuff. Me and my kids might be homeless because I can't come up with information that I have no way of retrieving. This is horrible. Can anyone tell me who I need to contact to speak to about this. They need to know this is unexceptionable. Update: Feb.21. We got served eviction notice yesterday. Because no help was provided and no compassion or understanding was even attempted we r now homeless... This is horrible 😔

I recently visited Vocational Rehabilitation to explore support options for job placement, funding for Texas Wesleyan, and assistance with my start-ups. I was impressed by the level of service I received! Although I had to choose just one area of support, the experience was exceptional.

Shayla, the intake coordinator, was incredibly helpful and made the entire process smooth and straightforward. Her professionalism and dedication to assisting clients were evident from the start. Rebecca Haynes provided practical and affordable guidance, which was greatly appreciated.

I was also blown away by their digital platform, Saraworks—it’s intuitive and efficient, making the experience even better. Having visited multiple vocational rehabilitation centers in the past, I can confidently say that this location offers the best customer service I’ve ever encountered. Highly recommended!

I finally got the help I need I first crisis I faced I was 19 Now I'm 52 so let that sink in. Yes it is a lot of paperwork and determination. You must be unemployed 30 days from a full time job and make sure you fill out everything. You might complete the whole packet that one little missed answer can get you denied. Also look on the back of your first sheet of the packet. and there is page two I almost missed it. Any thing small can get you denied. Y'all stay safe 💪💪

Place is a joke. Couldn’t even help my daughter with rent didn’t even explain why. Just denied her after she submitted all her paper work. Stupid

They said this was Low income based or No income that’s not right they denied me and it seems like they only want to help who they want to so I will be filing a complaint against this department. I appealed their decision and still got denied they all work together if one turns you down they all will!! Do not waste your time they aren’t here to help you!!

This place is an awful to seek for assistance. They ask you for too much to deny you. And don't be honest to let them know you self employed you automatically get denied. TARRANT COUNTY only have 2 organizations for help for human services help and neither 1 of them don't help especially when it comes to rent. Now I properly will be facing eviction at this point. I wish I still stayed in Dallas County they have way more assistance to help then Tarrant County. It seems to me Tarrant County want you homeless and on the streets. Smh

Tarrant County Human Services doesn't give any help even if you send them all the proof you have to show you are out of income and are going through a crisis they will not help they find any reason they can to deny you there is noooo point in even trying to apply for assistance.
