Went in with my buddy to check out the clothes in this thrift store and came out with chocolate brownies bread and cakes. This thrift store must be very blessed I actually pray for this thrift store to rise if I can ever donate it definitely be to this store. Amen

They overpriced some things but make up for it on other things. My only issue is the fact that they throw away books of all kinds in great shape,not to mention clothes,vacuum cleaners that still work,toys that merely need batteries. It seems to me that if they dont have the room for it all,is there not an alternative to throwing it away?

This was my first visit to this store, the staff were excellent and there was a joyful vibe inside. I found the most amazing vintage jewelry that I purchased for myself, also pieces I could repurpose the beads from to make new jewelry for myself and others. I was blown away by the selection and the prices were sooooooo good! Just to give you an idea, I spent 75.00 and walked away with 15 necklaces, 5 pair of earrings and 4 DVD movies! That is an amazing deal! Thank you thrift store ladies I highly recommend everyone make a stop to see you guys and shop your goodies!

Sweetwater Area Ministries holds a very special place in my heart and my life. They are more than a thrift, they are a sanctuary for those less fortunate or those in need in their life! Each person who either volunteers or works there has there own story of what Christ has done in their life or how they are pouring into the lives of others each day. If you are looking for great deals on just about anything, they have it. If you are hungry they will feed you. If you are looking to sow into or partner with a great and amazing ministry this is your place.
When I first walked in these doors I was Broken, lost, hopeless among other things. I was assigned to work there while I was at True Purpose Ministries. Day by day me being there helped transform me into the man I am today. I have now rededicated my life to Christ, have full restoration with my family, have an amazing Job, and walking in the light! I am now 4.5 years clean and sober! I could go on and on! God Bless this Place!

Really enjoy this store. Everything is neat and orderly. Makes shopping so much easier. Learned of this place from my mother who spoke very highly of it. I haven't got to meet everyone who works/volunteers there but the ones I have met are wonderful. ( Miss Sherry, Miss Carol, all the young helpful hard working men) The bingo days are ALOT of fun. 😁

Just went this morning for the first time. I was really impressed. Nicer than I expected. Some nice furniture. Good selection of glassware and great prices. I will be going every week! Staff was very friendly too.
