Absolutely incredible childcare!! Beyond happy, grateful and impressed with this center and all the staff. We have been there almost a year and everyday to and from I think to myself, I love this place and I’m so grateful for them. We trust them and know they take care of our little with love. They go outside everyday and do art and the food is incredible. They have circle time with books and everyone knows our little and is so excited to see him! Cannot say enough wonderful things!!

This child care center is great! My children, neices & nephews all spent time here. The staff has always been professional! You can really tell Sara and her staff love these kiddos! They are top notch! Now that my children are having children of their own, my grand babies will have the opportunity to be a part of this facility! The ONLY place in town we will use. Thanks Sara for always loving my kids!

I so highly recommend this day care center. I have so many good things to say about them I don't know where to start! I would not have my child anywhere else. I was so nervous to put my child into daycare after maternity leave as a first-time mom and we came here from a different center where I had had a bad experience. It was plain to see after only the first day that Sunshine House is a completely positive experience and they blew me away.

They are more than a day care center--Sunshine House E 18th St is a home away from home for my child and I. The entire staff works with the philosophy that childcare is also about families and relationships. They make sure to communicate with me and get to know me and my wishes for my child just as they make sure to get to know my child for who she is. We are a team.

The teachers, director, and assistant director truly know my child and appreciate her for who she is the same way I do, and this can be said for every child in the center. They all work so hard and with so much patience and dedication to build and maintain relationships with every individual child. The children at Sunshine House are happy, well cared for, respected, and loved so that they can learn and grow to fulfill their potential as little human beings. They are paid attention to and truly cared for. They are given boundaries with gentle encouragement, positive guidance, and love. Staff engage and play with the children while simultaneously keeping a routine going to ensure all the needs of each child are met.

My child is learning so much! In the toddler room she learns through play, songs, music, stories, sensory activities, activities to develop social-emotional skills, creative activities, active play, build language, and more. She has a good relationship with her peers and it is a privilege to see those little budding friendships happening.

The director and assistant director keep the center running in tip-top condition. They have high expectations of staff and only hire the best. They listen to parents and take feedback seriously. My child had incredible teachers in the infant room and now has amazing teachers in the toddler room as well. The teachers work so hard and tirelessly. I am continually amazed and impressed. I plan on keeping my child here until kindergarten if possible. We love Sunshine House!

My daughter has been at Sunshine House For a little over a year now. She started at the center when she was only 5 months and I remember I had so much anxiety leaving my daughter in someone else’s care. In little time all the amazing teachers in the infant room and now the toddler room made us feel right at home and my daughter loves being there, she loves all the teachers and she has learned so much while she has been in their care. From the teachers helping her learn to sit on her own to now saying words we have had the most amazing care. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. The directors are also great they care about your child and make sure your needs as a parent are always met and in prompt response time. With my daughter being here, going to work is so much easier knowing my daughter is cared for and loved and that she loves going to daycare.

The teachers are absolutely amazing at the Sunshine House! You can tell they truly care about the growth and development of my son. My son looks forward to going everyday and can't wait to tell me what learning experiences happened throughout the day. This is the best environment!!

My daughter has attended The Sunshine House since she was 3 months old. As a first time mom I was overwhelmed with anxiety dropping my daughter off at daycare and heading back to work. From the minute I started registration to attend the center, to NOW registering her for kindergarten the staff has put my mind and heart at ease every step of the way. I am overjoyed with the care and love my child has received through all these years. My daughter has flourished as an individual and exceeded expectations socially due to the wonderful staff and teachers at The Sunshine house. We have acquired a family here at Sunshine House and will miss seeing their beaming faces as we head into Kindergarten.

I have a 1 year old who has been at the Sunshine House since 3 months old and I also have a 7 year old who spends school out days and attends summer camp during the summers at Sunshine House. Everyone here has been amazing to our family and taken excellent care of our kids. My kids love to come here and I can truly say that the staff here is like our second family and I know without any doubt they will take excellent care of my kiddos and love them as their own. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my kids to spend their time every day!! 🙂
