The staff spends more time on their cell phones and hanging out with each other, hiding out in the office, going out to lunch, or doing their own special projects than they do spending time with these awesome individuals. The bosses all have their favorite staff and it showed!!! They left the rest of us peons to do what they didn’t want to do. I watched many get promoted only because they were the bosses favorites, and not because they earned it. I had one boss that would show up to special events just so that I could get pictures of her with the clients pretending to be apart of what was going on, and then leave. We would take special trips with these individuals to the Grand Mesa, only to have the boss and their favorite staff go off to go fishing while the rest of the staff (us peons) was left to care for all the individuals including ones in Wheel chairs. We sure could have used the help to make their day more special. Highly unprofessional!!! At Christmas time, we (the staff) had to spend our time making Christmas presents for their loved ones, instead of helping the individuals make Christmas presents for theirs. I loved what I did there, but hated the way we (the peon staff) was treated. They need to clean house, and get back to what this place could truly be. My son was there 18 years!!! I was there only one year. It wasn’t until I worked there that I saw what was truly going on. If they cleaned house, (management) I would love to go back, because I TRULY LOVED what I did there.

I love how all my older reviews were deleted but I am screenshotting this one! DO NOT GO THROUGH THESE PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE LGBTQIA+!! These people dead name and misgender clients ON PURPOSE and lie about why they can’t answer their phones! I also had a very fake and obviously miscalculated document of what I supposedly owed them just to find out that because they didn’t use my Medicaid waiver funds for my space of living, they actually owe me! They told me they didn’t have group home staff because they quit but when I confronted them about firing people and then making it my issue, they denied it and gave me a 30 day notice for services (ironically enough I was as is planning on leaving anyway). But the employee they fired was my former neighbor and she told me EVERYTHING!! Also they let another client who was in reception give my phone number that was hipaa protected to my ex boyfriend who was abusive as well as did nothing about her harassing me as well and when I asked them to do something, they said I was ā€œunprofessionalā€ and slandered me to any job experience I had tried getting! Awful agency , would say that I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy but obviously my worst enemy, stated before, is already a client and receptionist for them! #fireajkinkade #hipaaviolation #transphobiaisntcool

Absolutely avoid this place. Don't put your loved ones here and definitely don't work here. I can't even begin to tell you the disaster of this place. Its dirty they can't pass their state inspections and have failed many years in a row. they dont train anyone. They don't care if the staff can do what they need to do to care for your family they just need warm bodies. Worst experience I have ever had.

A nightmare, arrogance, harassment, intimidation. They are currently demanding caregivers work mandatory overtime. A very, very stressful environment and management obviously does
not care.
