Love love Kyla! She loves her big yard and comfy beds. She was a perfect fit and a sweetie through and through. I felt confident in the care she received at SCHS before we adopted her.

I adopted a pet from them recently. They were very helpful in giving information about the dog before I made the drive. The facilities are beautiful and the staff was very accommodating when I brought my other dog along for a meet and greet.

We adopted a 5 month old pup from Stone County Humane Society and she’s thriving in our home. She came to us very well socialized and became fast friends with our other dog. You can tell the team at Stone County go above and beyond to support their adoptive pets. Our pup was well taken care of and came with thorough paperwork from a vet. Deanna was amazing to work with during the adoption process.

Staff are attentive and truly love the animals. They are familiar with the fur-babies in their care and know the personalities. They are open 2 to 5 Monday through Saturday but are available by appointment if you call. The information packet they send home involves name, approximate age, and all health info including neuter/spay date. Was pleased to know that all animals are spayed/neutered before being released to their forever homes.

The Stone County Humane society was amazing! I found 2 puppies by the road and the SCHS gave me a pen to use, puppy pads and food to help until they had room to take them. What a tremendous help they were!

I called with some questions about my young dog who is in heat. The woman who answered the phone, kept cutting me off and would not let me finish a sentence, and the information she kept giving me when she was cutting me off, was not the information I was looking for, so I continue to try to finish what I was saying, but again she kept cutting me off. When she realized I was getting irritated with her for not allowing me to finish my sentence and get to the question I had she abruptly ended the call and hung up on me. I didn’t feel as if I deserved to be treated as such.
