I used this service a few years ago. I met one of the (now) directors at a veterans workshop. He was very focused on my future and wanted to ensure I was set up for success. Asked me to fill out a form so I can get registered with ssv. Days go by and I call to follow up, they lost the form. Call up the director and he says he is going to have his best guy working on my resume....3 days later I get an email from said guy with a resume that wouldn't get me employed at a fast food chain much less a corporate business. Contact the director and show him the resume to which he apologies for the resume and tells me no to worry...he had 3 job positions that he knew the hiring managers personally and would get me in. Again, hopeful but after 4 weeks and me calling and emailing him to follow up....he never responds. I have to contact main branch to get the director to contact me after 5 weeks. When he does call, he has no idea who I was or what he was doing for me. His reason for lack of response to me was that he was busy, he had no idea what positions I was talking about nor did he have anything that could help me.
Avoid using any of their services or believing that they care or can help.

The overall mission matches that of the staff. They are extremely polite, attentive to detail, and goal oriented when it comes to serving veterans. I would highly recommend this organization to any past, present, and future veterans that are in need of guidance after entering the civilian work force.
