Been trying to get a basic background check for the master gardener program. It has taken weeks. They sent me an invitation to initiate a background check and the link doesn't work because I have had background checks for my basketball coaching 5 years ago and somehow their system can't figure out how to get a new one started. I got a voicemail from a number that is listed as SPAM because their number isn't listed with a business name and address. I get a voicemail saying they would call me back in a few days. I never got a call back and it has been 10 days. So I email the Master Gardener office and they get Jonah to call me again and of course, I'm in a meeting, you know, for my job. And they keep saying they have been calling me and calling me and that it always goes to voicemail. That's funny because there is no record of a phone call since 9am and and after I finally sent an email demanding a response, my phone rang....hmmm. Their software is bad and their customer service worse. At one point after I missed the 9am call I found their number and called them. I asked to speak with Jonah. The lady who answered the phone said Jonah wasn't available. So I said please have them email me (gave them my email) so we can just setup a time to talk so we don't have to keep going back and forth. This lady told Jonah I said I didn't want to talk to them. Very unprofessional organization all around. Very difficult to hear on their phone lines as well. I don't doubt if this is all run offshore somewhere and run very poorly.

Very disappointed in the customer service. Easy to find the info, impossible to get a response. Phone lines are always busy and have a high volume; their auto-reply via email states someone will reach out within 24 hours, it’s been a week and I’m still waiting after two follow-ups. Background checks are required for Girl Scouts Volunteers and they will not receive any recommendations moving forward, what a shame.

THIS WAS HORRIBLE! I was trying to order a background check, which should be easy, but this company makes it unnecessarily difficult. The website is really bad. I had to call twice and sit on hold for an extended amount of time due to high traffic because the website kept having errors. If you can, avoid this company at all costs!

Their website promises that they will delete the volunteers' personal information. I asked them to do so and three weeks later, they sent me a form email about their security. I emailed them twice more. It has been close to two months, but my personal information still has not been deleted. This also happened to me three years ago when I was required to have a background check. This time my organization snowed me with Sterling's privacy protections. It's not worth risking identity theft to be a volunteer.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM! They were supposed to do a background check on me to chaperone my son's 1st ever field trip. 11 days later they still had not done so. Being a working dad I may never get the chance to go on a field trip with my son again. Needless to say they didn't pull through and the school would not allow me to attend. This company should be ashamed that they made a 6 yo boy cry. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY!

HORRIBLE!!!! The code they gave me didn't work. Retyped it for hours and didn't work at all
