Before my divorce, I gave & gave to this place expensive items in trust that a church organization would offer poor people my stuff for free or under $5 for sure. Today, I shopped here & seen not only 1 female in the basement but two & two men with another female upstairs staffed speaking only Spanish & trying on clothes while they were 5 of them shopping, when I presented my church coupon & this was after I seen $25.00 on items & nothing under $8.00 the items I selected are stained & should not ever have been sold for any money with stains, & the female & man at the register were extremely offensive in both tone & body language to be giving to a White skin person is when I felt not only Greed & Hate but also Racism against WHITE people. I hope you fire todays staff & train professional people & lower prices to those in crisis. Is my recommendation.
Regards, Patricia

The people doing this good service, serving free lunches Mon wed and Friday at 10:00am, are awesome, more than a handful of the locals are like primitive monsters, especially a short white girl that looks and acts like the penguin ? from Batman, just let them cut in front of you and then invite all their Clic to do the same, cuz apparently that's just the way it is here.

Clean & organized.
But everything with an OK brand is charged higher than ebay prices. Why would i pay $20 for a torn jcrew dress? That’s Literally a mall brand.

BE AWARE!
While I was looking for the jewelry one of 3 items that I gave to the cashier mystically disappeared. It was YSL tie, that I randomly found in this store. I didn’t check the bag at the store and noticed that something is wrong only in my car being checking a receipt, there was a charge only for two ties. One of the ties (the most interesting and definitely expensive item) wasn’t in the bag! When I came back to ask where is the third tie, the lady said I gave her only two ‍♀️ Then she said maybe I lost it in the store, maybe another customer took it, maybe I put it back to the rack ‍♀️ All these cheap tricks I have experienced only abroad, not in the U.S.A. Can’t believe it happened to me here, in San Francisco. Shame!
If you decided visiting this store, DON’T LEAVE YOUR FOUNDS AT COUNTER UNATTENDED!

Today I went after months of not..the place looks like a boutique vs a thrift shop (expression of highest compliment)
Yet my detailed enthusiasmness in discovering items to purchase came to a total of $3.00 ($2 white men's tshirt and $1 for 2 pc of car drying towel med size. Why? Coz most of the items that did interst me had funky mildew odor or had obvious bleach stains or tshirt types priced $3.50 ( Salvation Army thrift store close by sells those at $1.99)
These candid comments is in hope to aid that St. Vincent de Paul thrift shop location improves.

Excellent thrift store in downtown SSF. I've found many rare items here including vinyl, dinnerware, frames, apparel, & accessories. Once i came across a vinyl soundtrack for musical "My Fair Lady" (1964) under $5-in mint condition (still wrapped in plastic sleave). Good deals. Staff are kind ppl.

I purchased stuff and the cashier forgot to put one art piece into the plastic bag. I tried to reach them but they never pick up a phone and they don't care. Seems like this happened to many people as well.
